Ken McMurtrie (Ass.Dip.ComEng.  RMTC Australia)

A retired Electronics Engineer, living in Melbourne , Victoria, Australia.

Currently obsessed with AGW scam, US/British/Israeli  aggression and concerned about ‘financial powers’ world domination. (Plus addictive internet blogger!).
Hoping that I can make some contribution to improving our civilization.
A lover of Family, Music, Books and Videos, Sunshine and the Countryside, and of the beauty of Nature.
Other interests: Table tennis, Video collection, Yachting.

An avid opponent of greed, selfishness and disrespect.
I believe in a higher Spiritual Force but have no time for any established religion until such time that there is some apparent connection between a “church” and its God, and its ministers and followers practice what they preach. This includes a “God” who has enough influence on church leaders to help them live in harmony and offer some semblance of unity in their own beliefs. Church leaders who, unfortunately, do not “do unto others……”. (revised July 2015).
Slightly ‘bitter and twisted’ but hopefully not too much so!
All I ask is that people “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you!’
Hence the choice of blog title.

Don’t be obsessed or concerned. If you are an engineer born before 1950 you know for a fact that science is virtuallynever presented to the public. That might set a precedent. The only “scientists” you will ever see nowadays are bad actors. Feminists, manginas and micks like Flannery and various other stooges.

    • Lot of water under the bridge Rod, but just looking around my blog at random and found your welcome comment.
What I believed and what you say, are now so obviously correct.
Science is now so contaminated, adulterated and even fraudulent.
Together with a really dumb and/or ignorant public, the result is a sad “uncivilization”.

  3. A fair few interests that are similar to my own there. I’ll have a delve around some of your posts.

    Kind Regards

Ken, I just followed you here from E.M.’s blog. I like the “about the author” and the title…AMEN brother.

I do it every day, if you need support in your beielf that man’s activities are causing some serious environmental problems that we can ameliorate (lessen the severity of), and yet at the same time you think the whole greenhouse warming thing is way out of line with reality.Don’t you hate it when people say you are some sort of greedy oil-baron type because you are a global warming denier ? (I do not deny warming, I just think the evidence does not support the conclusion that man is primarily responsible for warming, and I do not see how climate change of any type is, a priori, a bad thing, mainly because I do not expect climate to stay unchanged no matter what man does). Was this answer helpful?

  5. Welcome and thanks.
We live in interesting times, I am almost overwhelmed with what is going on – little of it good.

I think the thuggish vouabiehr by denialists could be taken as a good sign. Clearly they are becoming very fearful and desperate as mounds of AGW evidence accumulate in their brains becoming ever more difficult to push aside and ignore, the disarray and confusion leading to these violent outbursts. And these violent outbursts are counter productive as this sort of vouabiehr always is, the average person abhoring violence and the majority of average people knowing climate change needs to be addressed. We just have to keep plugging away with the truth, using this latest monstering by denialists to hone skills and evolve to keep ahead of them. The really sad thing is that AGW is only one symptom of the problem while the more serious symptoms go largely unaddressed and the problem itself goes completely unaddressed and that is too many people consuming more than the planet can sustain.

      • Ah Hasan.
If you read my other comments to those complaining about the “denialists” it will save me being repetitive.
I don’t believe any of the technically trained and thinking persons resort to emotive outbursts. The truth obviously is in the eyes of the beholder and is generally conspicuous by its absence, particularly in the AGW camp.
Of course you are right in saying “too many people consuming etc” but that is nothing to do with whether global warming is real or not and certainly nothing to do with CO2 levels.
        Thanks for your comments.

  8. Hi Ken,

It looks like we have some things in common. I hope you will check out my site:

    • Hi Corey, What a surprise to find a “namesake” blog. A shock, even.
I suppose it is no coincidence that we cover similar territories, having chosen blog titles from similar motivations.
Given that your blogname was apparently registered first, strange I didn’t come across it when processing my registration.
Even stranger that FaceBook accept identically named pages. Anyway, no harm done.
I like your website, good luck, I will follow it.
      Regards, Ken.

    • I have again looked at your site and realize your website title incentive was more gold oriented and mine more human behavioral, but the general concern for the wrongs in the world are certainly common.
What I have found strange is that if I use the search function on your site, many topics offered to choose from actually include stuff that is on my blog and not on yours. e.g “julia Gillard”, “kenmcmurtrie” weird! Apparently the wordpress search engine doesn’t distinguish between the two sites in its database.
      Looking forward to future learning.
      Ken

I’m glad to know there are people like you walking around the world.

    All the best.
