Welcome

to the quest, be my guest. Please participate, contribute &/or follow. Please criticise if you disagree.

I admit to being a rebel. That may be in my character.

However, I am striving for the truth and only publish that which I believe in and that which strikes me as the truth and is more often than not, supported/promoted/claimed by substantial numbers of other people.

I have confidence in this. The evidence that the public are being lied to by top echelon and the mainstream press is both vast and convincing.

It is better for readers to have an open mind, to not simply accept what this blog promotes as ‘gospel’, but to ask themselves “is this the possible or likely truth?” What makes sense? Is the evidence factual? I can spot agenda driven motivation, can you?

Thanks for an excellent blog. I am not a christian, yet I believe in the golden rule and try to follow it. I’m not even sure if God exists? Yet have spent my life assuming so. My god does not concern itself with me. It is up to me, to live as directed by the rule … which is often harder than it seems. Cheers, Jamie.

The karmic wheel grinds on ….

Not all Christians are big into the Golden Rule. Christians are a enormously diverse group- they would to be, since they number about 2 billion. So you have MLK Jr, who was a pacifist and socialist and an American Baptist minister- obviously a big Christian. Also you have Adolf Hitler, mega-Christian (if you go by any of his speeches, and also his book, Mein Kampf).

Hitler wasn’t a big fan of the Golden Rule, lets be honest.

MLK Jr was though; he was a pacifist like Einstein and Gandhi. I see some Einstein quotes here- which is great. It should be mentioned that Einstein believed in fate, and did not believe in Free Will . All we need is Orwell and Gandhi and you’de have my 4 favorite socialists quoted here. Oh I see some Orwell here too at the top! In case you want to verify on wikiquote or wherever:

“the real purpose of socialism is precisely to overcome and advance beyond the predatory phase of human development” ― Einstein

“Every line of serious work that I have written since 1936 has been written, directly or indirectly, against totalitarianism and for democratic socialism …
My starting point is always a feeling of partisanship, a sense of injustice. When I sit down to write a book, I do not say to myself, ‘I am going to produce a work of art’. I write it because there is some lie that I want to expose, some fact to which I want to draw attention, and my initial concern is to get a hearing. ” -0rwell, “Why I Write”

      Also Orwell:
“Truth is treason in an empire of lies.”
      and
“Capitalism leads to dole queues, the scramble for markets, and war. ”
      and
“The past was erased, the erasure was forgotten, the lie became the truth.”

      =(

-Just giving old Albert and George (well, Eric) there “hearings”.

  3. I have nominated you for the “Blog Of The Year 2012” award.

  4. Dear Ken.
Please be so kind not to simply “lift” complete articles from nsnbc international. – neither I and many contributors don´t appreciate it. It is totally OK to publish short abstracts and then link to the rest at nsnbc. Especially just “lifting entire lenghthy articles is not faiw, when we are trying to make at least some revenue for our contributors,. many of them have suffered dearly because they are speaking out…

Korea – Putting the Situation into Perspective

A short abstract and a link to the rest is fine, appreciates and in spirit of solidarity. Lifing is not.

Alternatively contact us and insert the nsnbc international logo, with a link on your blog.

Best regards on behalf of the nsnbc team.

    • Hi Christof,
I appreciate and acknowledge your comment and am happy to respect your wishes in future.
I guess I didn’t sufficiently check your page for the share invitation that most blogs include.
When I do see the opportunity to share I take the advantage to reproduce whole articles and try not to forget to make the appropriate acknowledgements and links.
This achieves two things, it makes the information easier to read and it places the article on an extra internet file for security. If any blog I refer to gets taken off by ‘big brother’ the information is available elsewhere.
From a ‘lifting’ point of view, it is rude in a general way and benefits my blog from all your effort and expense and little of mine.
Because I make no income whatsoever from my blog, at least I am not guilty of any pecuniary benefit from your material.
In providing a source link on my post, obviously readers can follow up the source blog and I guess I expected that that would happen in most cases.
      Perhaps not.
I can perfectly understand and do respect your concerns and those of your contributors.

WordPress doesn’t seem to allow me to reply without our comments becoming public, privacy might have more appropriate.
      No real issues however.

Please accept my apologies and assurance that future promotions of your articles will be as you ask.
Your site is a marvelous source of important and revealing information.
I really appreciate being able to share your information with my readers and really boost the content value of my blog.
In the past I have taken opportunities to promote ‘nsnbc’ and will continue to do so.

Best regards to you and your contributors.
      Sincerely,
      Ken McMurtrie
