Phil’s article impresses. A cool clear look at the Australian Carbon Tax which we apparently have to have, but, as Phil says, will achieve nothing but pain. If it does not cement the downfall of Julia Gillard’s government it will be a miracle. A reduction in pollution is commendable but the anhilation of our industry and economy is an extreme price to pay.
I agree with Phil that CO2 itself is neither a pollutant, nor proven to be a significant influence on global temperature.
