Recent comments by President Obama
and high profile eco-activists like Canadian David Suzuki stating that there is a 97% scientific consensus on global warming and climate change are misleading the public, say Friends of Science. Four key studies on consensus show that scientists only agree that human activity has caused some warming – not dangerous warming; meanwhile The Economist is reporting IPCC draft estimates of climate sensitivity of CO2 saying; “climate sensitivity may have been overestimated in the past and that the science is too uncertain to justify a single estimate of future rises.”

Even the Economist’s statement is but another mealy-mouthed evasion, refusing even to imply that falsification is a possible outcome. Just a little tweaky-weakie here, and a little tweaky-weaky there, and everything will be right again!
