It’s not a secret, and hasn’t been one for about 8 years now, that I am a conscientious tax objector. It’s also no secret that the IRS has been on my case about it recently.
So, tonight I was having coffee at a local restaurant with an activist/friend and we were chatting about some very sensitive issues when a man wearing a blue long-sleeved shirt and tie approached our table. I thought that it might be the manager of the restaurant but he said, “Hi Cindy, I am Cornell from Channel 10 News in Sacramento.”

The GOLDEN RULE 
Good luck to Cindy, but I suspect that she will find that the IRS (and the “Justice system”) treat her to the same kindness, compassion and justice which they dispensed to Irwin Schiff. It saddens me. I think she would be of better use remaining free as a public firebrand, rather than spending years in prison.
It would be a serious injustice if she ends up in prison.
Not that injustices mean anything to the US authorities.
I have read that income tax, if that is what they are after, is not legally constituted and there is no law being broken by refusing to pay.
Again, however, that sort of thing is immaterial in the US. People have been jailed for no reason at all.
The government wants – the government takes. That is the current law of the land. Just like back in the days when the West (US) the gun wielders ruled.
Then came the Constitution, followed by the Amendments, hence civilization!
Now comes, blatant disregard for these public Laws, even by the Supreme Court, (can you believe this?), hence we have chaos.
Beats me why citizens are so patriotic when their government is not!
