Two households, full time job, bi-coastal, and more

A strange, in a way, addition to my blog. It requires some explanation – why choose it and what is achieved? My reasons are basically personal and I expect few readers will gain much insight from reading it through.

However, it does reflect closely my philosophy on life and civilization.
It supports my views, in general, it helps my confidence in what I believe. EM Smith stands out as an independent and very competent thinker.

His blog was my first reader experience of the type of intelligence (both senses of the word), available on the internet.
Mike was kind enough to accept my contributions to his topics and offered much wisdom.
We didn’t always agree, I am a little more adventurous in my thinking and often place reliance on gut-feeling. Room for error, but I rarely go out on a limb without considerable compelling evidence from somewhere.

Given the confidence to start my own blog, I am satisfied with the progress but feel the need to show gratitude where it is clearly due.

So readers may not want to follow this through, but Mike’s wisdom is outstanding and provides a basis for anybody to get a grasp on reality, if that is their desire.

WUWT has been visited as much as I can visit anything, and every time there is a backlog of postings that I haven’t read. More than I CAN read. Sigh. (again)…
