To believe the mainstream media is to risk ever knowing the truth about the real world. To believe government, (any government), issued information without considering their agenda(s), is to risk being brainwashed.
"Our lives begin to end, the day we become silent about things that matter".--Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
"I am only a child playing on the beach, while vast oceans of truth lie undiscovered before me". - Isaac Newton
“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.” – Albert Einstein, who also said:
"The minority, the ruling class at present, has the schools and the press, usually the church as well. under its thumb. This enables it to organize and sway the emotions of the masses, and makes its tool of them!" And,
"Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence."

There are many worrying signs for Australians when seeing varying and contradicting messages coming from the government. We really don’t know what to expect next.
At first, I was surprised by the initial indications, but nothing surprises me anymore.
That I’m no longer surprised, worries me; have I been conditioned by this new government?
The ABC is cherished by many Australians, and it would be a brave (or foolish) government which cut the funding, or tampered in any way with the ABC’s operation.
There have been strong media comments alluding to the containment of what the ABC can say and can’t say. There are strong voices who would totally contain the output of the ABC. Others would just like to see the ABC shut down altogether.
This is a major concern to free thinking Australians who would not like to see their ABC end, as depicted in this cartoon . . . . . . . . .
Cheers

Thanks for your comment Mick.
I agree that there is much to be concerned about.
I would conclude that neither government and/or minor parties are deserving our trust.
They seem to be controlled by outside influences like IMF and the global warming group.
