From the time that the first vaccine for smallpox was introduced, the medical community’s understanding of immunity, the immune system and immunization in general has been fundamentally flawed. Natural immunity that comes from exposure to pathogens and viruses during early childhood lasts a lifetime, she explains, while the kind artificially induced by vaccines is only temporary.

“It has been observed for ages that naturally acquired immunity from most viral diseases lasts a lifetime,” she wrote. “The invention of vaccination in the 18th century has surely precluded us from seeking to understand naturally acquired immunity and instead shifted the focus of immunologic investigation to understanding vaccine-based protection, which is then projected back on naturally acquired immunity.”

Vaccines: immune response or allergic reaction?

With a newfound understanding of naturally acquired immunity, Dr. Obukhanych continued her research into subsequent vaccines including diphtheria and tetanus, the latter of which does not even work. As it turns out, vaccines do not actually trigger an immune response so much as they do an allergic response, which obviously does not provide long-term protection against disease.

“Every new generation of immunologists is initiated into this illusion and inadvertently takes immunologic research in the direction that is further and further away from understanding the true basis of immunity,” added Dr. Obukhanych about the flaws of mainstream vaccinology.

Other topics addressed in Dr. Obukhanych’s book include real immunity as it is passed from mother to child through pregnancy and breastfeeding, the flu shot scam, why vaccines are ineffective at preventing bacterial disease, the myth of germs being dangerous and the failure of modern science to conduct honest immune research.
