Maybe readers who consider my set against the “climate change” movement as having no genuine basis, will now give me a little more credit, or credibility.
This post on ‘Investor’s Business Daily’ reveals the true agenda of the so-called “climate change” global movement. When this agenda is accepted as factual. it is possible to understand all the ramifications of the UN demands on individual countries for political obedience, control and financial destruction.
Economic Systems: The alarmists keep telling us their concern about global warming is all about man’s stewardship of the environment. But we know that’s not true. A United Nations official has now confirmed this.
At a news conference last week in Brussels, Christiana Figueres, executive secretary of U.N.’s Framework Convention on Climate Change, admitted that the goal of environmental activists is not to save the world from ecological calamity but to destroy capitalism.
“This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the Industrial Revolution,” she said.
Referring to a new international treaty environmentalists hope will be adopted at the Paris climate change conference later this year, she added: “This is probably the most difficult task we have ever given ourselves, which is to intentionally transform the economic development model for the first time in human history.”

The editorials comments about how successful our existing “democracy” based economy is, is obviously seen through rose-coloured glasses, as it suits the investment industry it represents.
Regardless, it is wise to consider the UN Agenda 21 proposed “New World” as an extremely bad alternative. Golden Rule readers will have no doubt about this blog’s thought’s on that!
Slowly, slowly, the evidence mounts up and leads us to truth and the understanding of reality.

Hello Marcus. It seems that you are firmly on the side of the alarmist approach to dealing with global pollution.
Very few people argue against the need, or at least the desirability of, clean air, water supplies and an unpolluted ocean, safe and plentiful habitats for man and all creatures.
The problem is that CO2 and carbon controls are not, in any significant way, connected to achieving any these important things.
Once you can understand that you will see the significance of the UN admitting their agenda is completely independent of environmental factors. It is all about political and financial controls.
Then priorities can be made accordingly. Freedoms are far more important than forced austerity programs which are civilization destroyers.
None of the climate change factors espoused are real problems, please consider reading with an open mind.
