There is, in fact, no valid evidence to support the assumption.
Therefore, their computer modelling exaggerates the influence of CO2.
In practice, it is shown to be invalid by the accepted computed average global temperature trend being far less than they predicted.
Fairly straightforward clear-thinking process, one would assume.
