“The most enduring lie is that the atomic bomb was dropped to end the war in the Pacific and save lives. “Even without the atomic bombing attacks,” concluded the United States Strategic Bombing Survey of 1946, “air supremacy over Japan could have exerted sufficient pressure to bring about unconditional surrender and obviate the need for invasion. Based on a detailed investigation of all the facts, and supported by the testimony of the surviving Japanese leaders involved, it is the Survey’s opinion that … Japan would have surrendered even if the atomic bombs had not been dropped, even if Russia had not entered the war and even if no invasion had been planned or contemplated.””

But such has been the mantra of this media “fact” that in his recent, obsequious performance before the Israeli parliament, Gordon Brown alluded to it as he threatened Iran, yet again.”

The US Congress can end world tyranny now by asking the US National Academy of Sciences to fulfill its mission [1] by evaluating and publicly reporting the validity of two empirical facts hidden from the public after the UN was formed on 24 Oct 1945:

I still, however, am having trouble connecting the dots between your ‘science discoveries and cover ups’, and the actual resulting political skullduggery.
I see the “skullduggery” as simply a new world order in action to control resources and population. This seems to be independent of science and dependent on greed, selfishness and psychopathy.

FEAR of death from nuclear annihilation after WWII convinced world leaders to hide the fact that neutron-repulsion generates the mass (m) that is available for release as energy (E = mc2) in cores of:
_ a.) Heavy atoms that causes them to fission and emit neutrons, and
_ b.) Stars & galaxies that causes them to explode and emit neutrons
Then spontaneous decay of free neutrons into hydrogen atoms generates the waste product that eventually escapes to fill interstellar space with hydrogen, although . . . .

Finally, the universe is vibrant and alive while expanding because neutron repulsion causes highly compacted neutrons to become interstellar hydrogen atoms.

Apart from the science of it. One imagines that the bombs dropped on Japan. Were eagerly promoted by the military, to see exactly what it would do to people. Not even a military target, they show themselves to be as low as any other force that would attack civilians.

As recently as 2002, I still thought I had made discoveries that would eventually be accepted. That was about the time I purchased my first car tags with the message, FE-SUN: Iron Sun.
Official responses to Climategate in 2009 revealed purposeful deception.
Then, in reviewing my career I saw that I had only discovered what had been purposely hidden from the public.
Read Fred Hoyle’s autobiography and you will learn that mainstream astronomers all thought iron (FE) the most abundant element in the Sun until 1946.
In 1964 I thought myself bright for discovering that isotopes of solar wind implanted neon in the Fayetteville meteorite were mass fractionated.
For the next sixteen years NASA gave funds to those who would hide solar mass fraction by falsely claiming neon is a mix of Ne-A, Ne-B, Ne-C etc.
In hindsight, that was purposeful deception.
In 1975 we discovered irrefutable evidence the Sun made our elements and birthed the solar system.
NASA gave funds to support the false idea that superheavy element fission could explain away the data.
In hindsight, that too was purposeful deception.
Again, in hindsight all my brilliant discoveries were of information that world leaders were trying to hide.
Ok. But what is the purpose of hiding any of these scientific truths?
What might have happened had they got on with life and introduced an upgraded science explanation?
Why would such revelations have changed any international relationships and altered the course of, for example, the US’s part in invading countries all over the world in order to control their resources?
The only connection I can visualize is if an alternative efficient, clean, economical energy generation resource made the fossil fuel industry redundant!
Is that what you are suggesting?

FEAR of nuclear annihilation and the survival instinct seem plausible to me.
But evidence for “cold fusion” was also attacked irrationally in the 1980s.

Whatever the purpose, huge amounts of public tax funds have been squandered to promote pseudo-scientific misinformation, including $ One Billion US Dollars on the Galileo Mission to Jupiter to collect data that NASA had to hide from the public:
I wonder if the notion of “enemies”. Makes for good reason to develop nuclear weapons? A development that gives reason for taxation and the unmitigated use of those tax monies by those in power.
The use of them at the end of WW2. Did demonstrate that their use would leave any plunder, relatively unusable. So why were so many distributed around the various parts of the world? As the supposed protagonists, faced each other down. What was supposed to be gained, from the sabre rattling? Intelligent people would see the dead-end street, of the nonsense. Despite the puerile arguments of “deterrents of war”. Unless there was/is a hidden agenda?
For the development of nuclear weapons had so many advantages to offer other than their use. It allowed for contracts of favour, for the parts. It allowed for hidden agendas of weaponry and guidance systems. It allowed for mining of an otherwise useless element. The mining bought reason for roads and infrastructure. Ensuring that only friends of government received the contracts. This is simplistic but also a reasonable argument.
It also stands to reason, that it was an enmity of convenience. That without any real commitment all sides could pull the same stunt, in their various countries.
Like 1984 by G.Orwell. Oceania, Eurasia and Eastasia. They fool their citizens over wars that do not exist.
Obviously, the U.S. of A. is using force, to gain territory. Their use of nuclear weapons is more likely through “dirty bombs”, or depleted uranium. Than the full out use of the hundreds of nuclear warheads, paid for through taxes. The various “friends” of the regimes that have recently fallen. Have stood by, allowing these territory invasions to happen. Like jackals, they hope to mop up the pieces of carcass.
