Reducing the risk for a second heart attack

Very relevant.

Rehabilitate Your Heart

Many patients come through their heart procedures and feel they are cured. Unfortunately for most, heart disease is a chronic progressive disorder of the arteries in which deposits of cholesterol, calcium, and abnormal cells (that is, plaques) build up on the inner lining of the arteries.  Heart disease usually progressively deteriorates over time, whether due to normal bodily wear or lifestyle choices such as exercise or eating habits. This is a hard concept to grasp, and it doesn’t mean it is a death sentence either.

You can do everything right and still have further heart issues.

When patients struggle with this, I point out doing everything right may be why they survived, as approximately 50% of people do not survive their first heart attack.   It is so important for each person to know their body’s signs and symptoms and not ignore them. We don’t really know what makes coronary artery disease…

Brainwashed Police Prosecute Parents to Protect Vaccines

This ‘VacTruth.com’ post by provides more evidence of the corruption in the vaccine industry and the associated dangers which are being obscured by the system.

This is not so much ‘brainwashing’ as it is coercion, a corruption of justice within the justice system. This is positive evidence supporting the claims of vaccination dangers and related cover-ups.

I have been very honored to work with retired Sergeant Christopher Savage of the Queensland Police Service during the past few months. Mr. Savage contacted me after watching the short film I recently published on VacTruth highlighting cases of false accusations of child abuse after vaccine injuries. [1] The evidence of sheer corruption he revealed sent shivers down my spine.

His papers confirm that the police are writing off cases of possible vaccine injury as Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. They also highlight the fact that due to biased and inadequate training, the police are falsely accusing parents of manslaughter and Shaken Baby Syndrome and parents killing their own children because they have been brainwashed to search for signs of abuse, assault and foul play whenever a child dies.

How Zionist Empire Rebuild Countries After Invasion

“In 2003, still tumescent with post-9/11 rage and dreams of global glory, anything seemed possible to the men and women of the Bush administration, who would cite the German and Japanese examples of just what the US could do as they entered Iraq. Following what seemed like a swift military defeat of the Taliban in Afghanistan, the plan had gotten big and gone long. It was nothing less than this: remake the entire Middle East in the American image.”

♥ The Tale Of My Heart ♥

How Zionist Empire Rebuild Countries After Invasion

Why has the US spent so much money and time “so disastrously trying to rebuild occupied nations abroad”?

Some images remain like scars on my memory. One of the last things I saw in Iraq, where I spent a year with the Department of State helping squander some of the $44bn American taxpayers put up to “reconstruct” that country, were horses living semi-wild among the muck and garbage of Baghdad.

Those horses had once raced for Iraqi autocrat Saddam Hussein and seven years after their “liberation” by the American invasion of 2003, they were still wandering that unraveling, unreconstructed urban landscape looking, like many other Iraqis, for food.

I flew home that same day, a too-rapid change of worlds, to a country in which the schools of my hometown in Ohio could not afford to pay teachers a decent wage. Once great…

Eating Watermelon Could Keep You From Looking Like One

Watermelons

This subject is not new to ‘tgrule’ but such a simple and positive health food deserves more publicity. Elsewhere on this blog there are questions raised about cholesterol issues, but the benefits suggested here are regarding the end result, whatever the detailed mechanisms might be.

From ‘Care2’, this post is by

Have you been told that a lack of exercise and poor eating habits are putting you at risk for cardiovascular disease? Looking for ways to lose weight, lower cholesterol and take some pressure off of your hard-working heart?

A new study out of Purdue University recently found that watermelon juice could hold the key to tackling all of these health issues at once. Published in the Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry, the research suggests that citrulline, a compound found in watermelon, plays a role in cardiovascular health.

To test their theory, researchers fed two groups of mice diets high in saturated fat and cholesterol (just like what the average American eats every day). Then, half the mice were given water containing 2 percent watermelon juice, while the others received water supplemented with a solution that matched the carbohydrate content of the watermelon juice.

The mice that consumed watermelon juice gained about 30 percent less weight than the control group and had about 50 percent less LDL cholesterol (the “bad cholesterol”). The experimental group also had about a 50 percent reduction of plaque in their arteries, as well as elevated levels of citrulline.

“We were interested in citrulline because previous studies showed that it may lower blood pressure,” said Shubin Saha, a Purdue Extension vegetable specialist and study co-author. “We didn’t see a lowering of blood pressure, but these other changes are promising.”

If you’re a conscious consumer who’s dedicated to living a healthy life, you probably already knew that watermelon was good for you…there are few fresh fruits and vegetables that aren’t. Still, isolating the beneficial properties of citrulline could be an indirect way to reduce food waste around the world. Nutraceuticals, or holistic medicines, are becoming a huge part of the healthcare market. Using watermelon to create a citrulline supplement could create demand for watermelons that can’t be sold in the store or farmers’ market. According to Saha, 20 percent of each year’s watermelon crop is wasted either because the fruit is visibly unappealing to consumers or because some growers find it too expensive to pay for harvesting as prices drop during the height of watermelon season.

“We could use the wasted melons that can’t go to market for extracting beneficial compounds,” Saha said. “Growers are putting energy into these crops, so if we can do something to help them market their additional product, that would be a benefit to the industry and consumers.”
