This post was published December 2011 but is exceptionally relevant as the fore runner background on current issues – in particular Syria.

Significant background to the reality of the invasion and take-over of countries by the US and its alliance of the ‘willing‘ warring! The use of the term  ‘US’ is intended to cover all its associated heirarchy and allies.

Makes it easier to perceive the propaganda about Iran in the US’, yet another, quest to take control there.

A timeline & history: One year into the engineered “Arab Spring,” one step closer to global hegemony.
by Tony Cartalucci

Editor’s Note: The title, “Year of the Dupe,” was inspired, and indeed coined by Dr. Webster Tarpley of Tarpley.net, who is noted below as giving the initial tip-off regarding Egypt’s unrest back in January 2011.

2. A person who functions as the tool of another person or power.

December 24, 2011 – In January of 2011, we were told that “spontaneous,” “indigenous”uprising had begun sweeping North Africa and the Middle East in what was hailed as the “Arab Spring.” It would be almost four months before the corporate-media would admit that the US had been behind the uprisings and that they were anything but “spontaneous,”…

US State Department Hands Terror-Cult US Base in Iraq

Only comment is that readers surely now have sufficient evidence of the fake ‘war on terror‘ scenario.

Unimaginable Treason at the Highest Levels of US Governance.
by Tony Cartalucci

March 9, 2012
– In an unbelievable act of high treason and overt criminality, the US State Department, headed by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, has finalized arrangements to move the US State Department-listed foreign terror organization, Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MEK), into the former US military base “Camp Liberty’ in Iraq.

Effectively turning the camp into a living monument of desecration to the memories of 6,000+ LinkUS troops killed over the last 10 years of the fraudulent “War on Terror,” the US State Department is also appropriating US taxpayers’ money to make upgrades to the camp to accommodate the terrorist organization. In Foreign Policy Magazine’s article, “Are the MEK’s U.S. friends its worst enemies?,” it is indicated that up to 3,000 terrorists are expected to move into the new site with the first two…

Libya’s Big-Oil PM Rolls Over for Western Masters

Clearly, Libya is assisting the US by admittedly training, arming, and providing foreign-terrorists to fight alongside Syrian militants, in yet another example of post US-engineered “Arab Spring” nations emerging as US client-states. Tunisian president Moncef Marzouki, a US-funded activist leader installed upon a wave of destabilization triggered by US-backed activists, has likewise supported US efforts to isolate and topple the Syrian government. Marzouki announced that Tunisia would begin withdrawing recognition of the Syrian government and prepare to expel the Syrian ambassador from Tunisia.

Still on about Syria and the corruption by the West in creating and supporting the rebels.
“During talks with Libya’s “PM” el-Keib, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would admit that the US was organizing the Syrian opposition into a front similar to what the US and NATO had assembled in Libya before commencing months of NATO bombardment and the eventual devastating sieges of the cities of Tripoli, Bani Walid, and Sirte.”

.

Look at who runs Libya now, NOT the people.

El-Keib obfuscates/defends Libyan support for terrorist militants in Syria.
by Tony Cartalucci

March 9, 2012 – Libya’s Prime Minister, and British Petroleum, Total, and Shell-funded Petroleum Institute chairman Abdurrahim el-Keib, flatly denied allegations by Russian UN Ambassador Vitaly Churkin that Libya was directly funding, training, and arming militants in Syria. El-Keib’s denial stands in direct contradiction of reports like the London Telegraph’s “Leading Libyan Islamist met Syrian Army Opposition Group,” where it was revealed that “the new Libyan authorities had offered money and weapons to the growing insurgency against Bashar al-Assad.”

Quake enigma: The more it shakes, the less it shows

English: Location of Fukushima I Nuclear Power...

Just checking on the Fukushima NPP meltdown aftermath reporting, where it seems the minimal media exposure, downplaying radiation dangers and castigation of whistleblowers remains evident.

This post on RT.com seems worth studying.

A fair number of bloggers hint or even insist that the underwater event that triggered the tsunami was not natural but man-made in order to deliberately damage Japan. One possible motivation suggested was that Japan was not toeing the NWO requirement line. The possible man-made causes include a nuclear explosion or a HAARP incident.

So now we have entered the conspiracy theory realm. It is not yet my desire to go down that path, but I do find it interesting.

For now, I am keen to publish this post which just hints at the possibility of foul play. A good place to start the topic.

The 9.0 magnitude earthquake and the subsequent tsunami that devastated Japan’s east coast exactly one year ago were not supposed to happen. At least if seismic hazard maps are not cheating. But can modern science really predict such disasters?

As Joel Achenbach noted quite rightly in his Washington Post article, Earth paid no heed to scientific orthodoxy. And while geologists were theorizing, a massive slab of our planet’s crust moved 55 meters (180 feet) eastwards. It lifted the ocean bed almost 5 meters up (15 feet), and that brought all the might of the waters of the Pacific upon Japan’s eastern coast.

The Tohoku area of Japan’s main island of Honshu suffered the most. The quake and the tsunami killed about 20,000 people and wiped out entire towns in several coastal prefectures. And yet no other consequence of this natural catastrophe inflicted so much horror around the world as the Fukushima nuclear crisis.

When the tsunami hit the Tohoku area, the destruction it caused led to wide-scale power outages. The latter caused failure of cooling systems of the Fukushima nuclear power plant and, eventually, a meltdown of the radioactive fuel inside the plant’s nuclear reactors.

Science caught off guard

The 2011 disaster that hit Japan was not the only one to humble the international scientific community. The same applies to a series of devastating earthquakes that took place at different times since 2004 – in the Indian Ocean, Haiti, China, and New Zealand.

In the aftermath of these disasters, and most of all the one that happened in Japan, geologists now feel the need to reexamine their basic knowledge pertaining to earthquakes.

“This is a humbling field. If you want to be smug, don’t be an Earth scientist, and certainly don’t be an earthquake researcher,” the Washington Post cited Ross Stein of the US Geological Survey as saying.

Seismic hazard maps usually show where quakes are most likely to strike over a certain period of time, as well as the expected intensity. However, some argue that these maps are nothing more than a description of past events and have limited value if we want to foresee disasters. The trouble is that some geological faults may endure thousands of years of strain before a catastrophic rupture.

Supporters, on the other hand, argue that such maps are better than nothing. They may help policymakers decide, for instance, where to direct their efforts in the construction of wave fortifications and see which buildings may require some form of seismic retrofitting.

So by reading the whole article, linked here, the reader will see that the scientists are having to rethink their “science” a little or maybe a lot.

The official story here does not touch on the possibility of an ‘un-natural’ cause. No doubt to be expected, as genuine scientists do not imagine such things.

Nevertheless, they may be overlooking an important element. If so it would be a shame to re-adjust scientific thinking because of an oversight.

Indeed we are in unknown territory, but I am happy to include this post because of its controversy potential. Another possible area of  truth being conspicuous by its absence, and it might just be the work of the ungodly in their quest for World Domination.

Africom – Resource or Humanitarian motivation?

With all interest on the Middle East, for obvious reasons, Africa seems to take a back seat in the media, both mass and reality variety. I guess the US is not doing quite so much damage in Africa but it is surely there, with weapons on! As the video mentions, wherever there is oil, so is there US military. Wherever there is poverty, famine, riots, health problems, but no oil, not even official US non-military presence exists. It doesn’t take an Einstein brain to come to a rational conclusion. BTW there are other resources – other minerals that also attract the US, but never humanitarian problems.

I Don’t Want To See Their Faces; I Don’t Want To Hear Them Scream

See Hear

Image via Wikipedia

Christopher Cooper, Common Dreams, posted this story on Sott.net.

I have already posted one personal “rant” about the horrors of war this week (Cancer of the Spirit: On the Bridge review), but this pulls no punches and is a story of real human anguish.

The whole thing is regrettable, really. Shocking, truth to tell. And so sad, I’m sure, for those people, those blanket-wearing, beard-growing, false-god-worshiping, probably-related-to-terrorists, citizens of Afghanistan whose wives and children and babies were gunned down in their beds, shot, murdered, slaughtered, and then burned by one of America’s finest Sunday morning. But hey, what are ya gonna do? These things happen.
It seems the soldier in question was not, in fact, representative of our brave fighting men and women. He was just another in the continuing series of lone gunmen who have been shooting up the world here and overseas for as long as any of us have been reading the newspapers. David Cortright, the director of policy studies at Notre Dame’s Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies, tells us “This may have been the act of a lone, deranged soldier.” I saw a headline that said he was a rogue. OK; rogues do as often as not, “go rogue” as no less an authority than Sarah Palin would have us know. So given time to reflect a bit, I guess I’m sorry I impugned our noble troops.

.

.

My kid has annoyed me a time or two today. Loud, wild, antagonistic here and there. (He’s seven.) I told him to stay off the rotten ice on the pond inlet stream while I was cutting bushes, but there he was, “I’m cold!”, up to his knees in slush and muck and icewater, and we quit early and repaired to the woodstove to dry him out. (He did agree he ought have listened to my wise counsel.) Then again, he told me a dozen times he loved me. And when he just couldn’t possibly get to sleep on his own, he had not the slightest trouble when I let him lie on the couch in my office as I wrote my little letter to you all out there.
And there he sleeps. And you could bomb my house and blow up my car and take away a leg and an arm and I might take your compensation check and relocate and regroup and nurse my grievances in the barroom. But if you or you or you or anybody came in here and killed him, I don’t care if you’re Christian or Jew or Mohammedan or a pagan suckled in some creed outworn, if you hurt him accidentally or on purpose, under orders or because you snapped under the pressure of your third deployment. I’d just want to kill you. And I don’t doubt I might kill you slowly and abuse your damned corpse in some ugly way. You and the guy behind you and the army that comes after that. I’d open you up and I’d nail you to the porch floor.
Oh, I’d be a bad person for doing so. Why, you might even say I’d become a terrorist, I suppose. And killing you wouldn’t bring back my wonderful boy, because whatever God you might pray to or believe in only ever made one of him, and you killed him, and there could be no joy, no purpose, no happiness in my life after that other than getting to you and grinding you up and making you pay. You’d compensate me with your flesh for forty-two pounds and forty-four inches of boy. And if I went crazy enough (and I might, and anybody might), I might need to kill a whole lot more who seemed to me to be pretty much like you. And there we would be.

Instead of us, the general public, in the US or Australia or wherever, shutting our eyes to the realities of war, why don’t we, as Christopher has done, put ourselves in the place of the invaded, and just imagine what it is like and how we would feel?

I believe everybody should read this story, linked here.

Bashar al-Assad, Facebook page removed after uploading video exposing obviously skewed Barbara Walters interview with Assad

One more post which reveals the corruption of the media in giving the public the wrong information about Syria.

Madison Ruppert, Contributing WriterActivist Post
In a clear act of censorship, after a video was uploaded to the official Facebook page for the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) which exposed the highly manipulated ABC interview with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, the page was removed by Facebook.
The video was of a press conference held by the spokesman for the Syrian Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ministry, Jihad Makdessi, showing how the ABC interview was deceitfully edited.
“The conference showed how the US TV channel ABC manipulated the content of their interview with President Bashar al-Assad and distorted it through editing and omission,” writes SANA.
Syrians on Facebook have apparently already created a new page dedicated to the Syrian TV station, but this instance of Facebook controlling the narrative is hardly something which can be ignored.
The entire interview, conducted by Barbara Walters, is an exercise in Western propaganda which is completely divorced from objective reality and instead based solely on pulling the heart strings of viewers in hopes that they will not go through the effort of verifying any of the claims.
In this article we will also explore just how Walters goes about misrepresenting the truth and misleading the viewer during the interview.
Why you shouldn’t trust the Western media’s picture of Syria

Cancer of the Spirit: On the Bridge review

I am seriously shaken by this post of Bob Koehler, by its contents, by its graphic descriptions of the horrors of war (Ohh!, the Horror!), by the dehumanization of the soldiers, how they become nothing except animals in executing the desires and orders of the Presidents and Prime Ministers of “civilised” countries (some of them calling themselves “Christian”), by the absolutely unforgiveable treatment handed out by the authorities on the soldiers’ return to their beloved country, the country they think they are fighting for, but in fact they are fighting for a completely different reason, the whole war “game” makes me feel sick!

I have known all about this from frequent articles on the internet, but each time I am confronted with the “horror”, I relive the experience and rebel against the authority that should not be tolerated.

The documentary he refers to, “On the Bridge — an unstinting look at the reality of war and the terror of PTSD,…” is a story that needs to be told and needs to be seen and heard by everyone. We are all part of this inhumanity scenario, whether we like it or not.

Our leaders are the cause of this horrific end result of starting endless wars. Our leaders! We elect them, think that they can do no wrong, believe their lies, pay their salaries, show them undeserving respect, let them think for us, let them tell us what to do no matter how wrong, misguided, unethical, disgusting that may be!

Worst of all, we support them, apparently no matter what!

We do not Fxxxxxxwell “have to stay”! Nor Go, in the first place!

COTO Report

By Robert C. Koehler

Can we squeeze the glory out of the word “war”?  Can we talk about savage irrationality and lifelong inner hell instead?  Can we talk about the wreckage of two countries?

Can we talk about spiritual cancer?

In the extraordinary documentary On the Bridge — an unstinting look at the reality of war and the terror of PTSD, directed by Olivier Morel — each of the six Iraq vets who opens his or her heart in the course of the film has a moment of deep, almost unbearable silence at the end, staring into the camera and through the camera at the viewer . . . and at the nation they are committed to waking up. In that silence, those are the questions that begin to emerge.

On the Bridge bares the deep psychic wounds of America’s returning vets — “I liken (PTSD) to the comedic scene…

Syria’s Bloody CIA Revolution – A Distraction?

English: A volcano called Syria

Image via Wikipedia

Currently, two aspects of the Syrian unrest are clear.

The US and whatever associated  organizations, certainly including Israel, are hell-bent on getting involved in destroying the legitimate Syrian regime.

The media (mass/mainstream type), are being fed and are broadcasting brutal events blaming the Assad regime and attempting to provide a basis for the powers to take action, and for the public to believe that it is necessary, for a full scale attack on the legitimate Syrian regime.

What is not clear is exactly who are the groups fomenting the rioting, killing and maiming of innocent civilians, and exactly who they represent. Also not clear is how much of the media information is accurate. We certainly know that some of it is not!

I am quite clear in the belief that the atrocities are not government military generated.

This post from Sott.net, by Joe Quinn, is a very comprehensive and believable essay/documentary on the subject of infiltration and subversive activities which directly relate to these issues. It is lengthy, detailed, impressive and should be read by anyone interested in truth and justice. A few extracts will provide some idea of the articles merit.

Hundreds of thousands of people have been repeatedly taking to the streets of Damascus to show their support for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. Photo taken October 12, 2011

While the mainstream media is going to great lengths to convince the world that events in Syria are the result of yet another ‘people’s revolution’, the facts point clearly to yet another US government-sponsored bloody ‘regime change’. Given that the US has been a de facto global empire for at least 60 years, with all of the power, infrastructure and influence that entails, how difficult do we think it would be for agents of the empire to manufacture a ‘revolution’ in any given country? The answer, surprisingly, is ‘not so easily’. But it is doable, as long as the empire is willing to murder innocent civilians to create the impression of a brutal regime in need of removal. And the USA has never balked at murdering a few hundred, a few thousand, or even a few million civilians to ensure it gets its geo-political way, to the delight of psychopaths in power everywhere.

Since its creation in 1947, the CIA has mounted approximately 3,000 major operations and 10,000 minor operations of this nature, every one of them illegal and many of them “bloody and gory beyond comprehension”. According to former CIA agent John Stockwell (who was involved in several such operations), by 1988, over six million people had been killed as a result.

Like Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya before it, Syria is next in line for NATO (aka American/Israeli) regime change, and the hallmarks of CIA, MI6 and Mossad subversion tactics are all over the media reporting of this latest ‘Arab revolution’. Syria has been on the Israelis’ ‘to-do’ list for several years, mainly because it is (now) the last independent, secular, multi-ethnic Arab country in the Middle East, a staunch supporter of Iran and, as such, an obstacle to Israeli hegemony over the entire Middle East.

So far, the Syrian ‘revolution’ has been a carbon copy of most other CIA-sponsored ‘regime changes’ over the past 60 years: mercenaries and death squads are imported into the country to ‘stir things up’ in advance of a bombing campaign when the time is right. In Libya, that’s exactly what happened, with the British, Americans and Israelis pooling their resources and sharing the contents of their little black books of ‘al-qaeda’ fighters they have been recruiting over the years

In case you are a little confused by all that, let me spell it out: the CIA is using ‘Muslim terrorists’, i.e. people against whom America is waging the ‘War on Terror’, to bring ‘freedom and democracy’ to states that ‘harbor Muslim terrorists’.

Barely two months later, on December 17, 2011, the Spanish paper ABC, carried a report by Daniel Iriarte entitled: Libyan Islamists move to Syria to help the revolution.

Kanj said he was instructed “to incite people to protest, particularly outside the Ummayad Mosque in Damascus” and in the flashpoint protest towns of Daraa, Latakia and Banias, to “incite protests to topple the regime and to carry out acts of sabotage”. Agence France-Presse, citing Syria’s Ath-Thawra newspaper, said that Kanj was instructed “to open fire on protesters in order to sow disarray and lead people to believe that the security forces was shooting on the demonstrators.”

Reports from late November last year state that British Special forces have met up with members of the Free Syrian Army (FSA), the armed wing of the Syrian National Council. The apparent goal of this initial contact was to establish the rebel forces’ strength and to pave the way for any future training operations.
More recent reports have stated that British and French Special Forces have been actively training members of the FSA, from a base in Turkey. Some reports indicate that training is also taking place in locations in Libya and Northern Lebanon. British MI6 operatives and UKSF (SAS/SBS) personnel have reportedly been training the rebels in urban warfare as well as supplying them with arms and equipment. US CIA operatives and special forces are believed to be providing communications assistance to the rebels.

Mr death squad junior, Ambassador Robert Ford

US ambassador to Syria since 2010 is Robert Stephen Ford. Before Syria, Ford was Political Counselor to the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad from 2004 until 2006 under ‘Mr. Death Squad’ John Negroponte. Before his recent departure and the closing of the US embassy, Ford temporarily left Damascus in October 2011 over fears for his safety after he was attacked with eggs by Syrians and accused by the Syrian media of overseeing the use of death squads in Syria. Having successfully overseen the establishment of his death squads in Syria, Ford is reportedly heading back to his old stomping ground, Iraq, to take command of the death squads US embassy there.

Just out of interest, did you know that between December 24th 2011 and January 18th 2012, there was a League of Arab States Observer Mission to Syria that comprised observers from every single country in the Arab world? Did you know that they published a report? Of course you didn’t, because the report was suppressed by US and Israeli cronies in the Arab world (think Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar for example) and the Western media. Go ahead, try a web search for ‘Report of the Head of the League of Arab States Observer Mission to Syria for the period from 24 December 2011 to 18 January 2012‘, because that is its title.
In their report, the members of the Mission came to some very interesting conclusions that make it very clear why you haven’t heard of this report, until now.
On page 4 the reportstates:

VI. Implementation of the Mission’s mandate under the protocol
A) Monitoring and observation of the cessation of all violence by all sides in cities and residential areas
In Homs, Idlib, Hamaand and Dera’a, the Mission observed armed groups committing acts of violence against Government forces, resulting in death and injury among their ranks… Examples of those acts include the bombing of a civilian bus, killing eight persons and injuring others, including women and children, and the bombing of a train carrying diesel oil. In another incident in Homs, a police bus was blown up, killing two police officers. A fuel pipeline and some small bridges were also bombed.
The Mission also noted that, according to its teams in the field, the media exaggerated the nature of the incidents and the number of persons killed in incidents and protests in certain towns. […]
In Homs, a French journalist who worked for the France 2 channel was killed and a Belgian journalist was injured. The Government and opposition accused each other of being responsible for the incident, and both sides issued statements of condemnation. The Government formed an investigative committee in order to determine the cause of the incident. It should be noted that Mission reports from Homs indicate that the French journalist was killed by opposition mortar shells.

That should be enough to convince the reader that this blog and its beliefs are substantiated by some very good evidence. The UN and the US are telling lies, the media is conniving to back them up, the public are gullible. But the facts are available for the public to learn the truth.

Thanks to Joe Quinn and Sott for this post, linked here.

Mainstream Media Lies: 23 Things That Are Not What They Seem To Be On Television

This ‘BlacklistedNews.com’ post about the US media and government lies deserves public exposure.

Although many of the other 22 listed items are very serious, this one is arguably the most damning of the US leadership’s failure to support its own country.

The Lie: We have to send our troops overseas to fight the terrorists “over there” or else they will come and fight us over here.

The Truth: Dozens of jihadist training camps are operating inside the United States right now and the federal government could not care less.  The following is from a recent WorldNetDaily article about a jihadist organization that is operating 35 training camps on U.S. soil right now….

Jamaat ul-Fuqra, known in the U.S. as “Muslims of America,” has purchased or leased hundreds of acres of property – from New York to California – in which the leader, Sheikh Mubarak Gilani, boasts of conducting “the most advanced training courses in Islamic military warfare.”

In a recruitment video captured from Gilani’s “Soldiers of Allah,” he states in English: “We are fighting to destroy the enemy. We are dealing with evil at its roots and its roots are America.”

Though Gilani and his organization is suspected of committing assassinations and firebombings inside the U.S., and is also suspected of the beheading murder of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl in Pakistan, the terrorist camps spread through the country continue to expand in numbers and population.

But apparently Islamic terror is only a “problem” when the federal government wants to use it to justify invading another country.

In fact, there have been several instances where the U.S. government has actually allied with al-Qaeda in order to overthrow governments.  The latest example of this was in Libya.

Regarding collaboration with Al-Qaeda, we can now add Syria.

Read the complete expose here.
