Weekly Climate and Energy News Roundup – The Right Climate Stuff

Why I am confident in arguing that the AGW science is not settled etc., – is plainly exhibited in this posting of many articles which are scientifically valid. Even where they might be questioned by the ‘warmists’, they run rings around the very shaky science and principles on which they depend.

From the related article below:

“The question in my mind at the time was how long this would take to begin to break out into the “mainstream” scientific and media world.

Figure 1

That day appears to have arrived.  The new issue of The Economist has a long feature on the declining confidence in the high estimates of climate sensitivity.  That this appears in The Economist is significant, because this august British news organ has been fully on board with climate alarmism for years now.  A Washington-based Economist correspondent admitted to me privately several years ago that the senior editors in London had mandated consistent and regular alarmist climate coverage in its pages. [my emphasis]

The problem for the climateers is increasingly dire.  As The Economist shows in its first chart (Figure 1 here), the recent temperature record is now falling distinctly to the very low end of its predicted range and may soon fall out of it, which means the models are wrong, or, at the very least, that there’s something going on that supposedly “settled” science hasn’t been able to settle. “

Is Pope Francis Laying The Groundwork For A One World Religion?

The title of an ‘IntelliHub’ post, an article by Michael Snyder, End of The American Dream.  “Does Pope Francis intend to help the global elite achieve their goal of uniting all of the religions of the world under a single banner?

English: A colour-coded world map showing the ...

English: A colour-coded world map showing the state religions of applicable nations. Buddhism Islam Shi’a Islam Sunni Islam Orthodox Christianity Protestantism (in England: Anglicanism) Catholicism (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Religion has been on my topic list since the inception of this blog and has remained dormant for a few reasons. My knowledge and experience in this area is limited and I needed to be brave to risk making a fool of myself. This time has come.

Much has been offered on this blog about the very soundly based claims of the serious agenda and emerging evidence of a “New World Order” becoming a reality. In my mind there are real and formidable barriers to the implementation of a working world government.

One of these being the inherent political differences between, on the one hand the “West” encompassing the US, its allies [just occurred to me that could aptly be mis-spelt “all lies” 🙂 ], and the EU and, on the other, almost the rest of the world. The latter in loose terms, comprising mainly Russia, China, India, South America and the Middle East.

The BRICS group (Brazil, Russia India and China), are showing effective opposition and yet there are traces of ambiguity regarding Russia.

The ME is under serious attack with some real success (from the NWO point of view) but so far effective opposition from Syria (limited) and Iran (with a little bit of help from their friends). Korea is a thorn in the NWO side and is being very poorly tackled currently.

A very, very rough picture of the political scene. The other main barrier to an “effective” NWO is of course, religion – Islam “vs” ‘non’Islam’. When I saw the above headline it created in me an “ahaa” reaction.

The Christian religion is so disjointed and fragmented, (one of my reasons for wondering what possible influence God has on these factions), only the Catholic Church has serious adherence and substantial following.

Of course there is the Jewish faction, a huge enigma. But with their Zionist component firmly entrenched in the anti-Islamic war and Middle East turmoil, their positioning seems clear.

That completes my very simplified overview and naive comprehension of a major issue. So we learn here of a possible working scheme that would, if implemented, save much blood-shed and tears. Just about an impossible hope, but given most alternatives, worth a serious look. Not that I am in any way wanting a NWO. Not at least, the type that is being laid out on the drawing board. But it might eliminate or reduce what I had previously considered to be a firm barrier.

A dilemma for me, happy if the barrier prevents an effective world government, but if it becomes inevitable anyway, happy to see one major humanitarian disaster (Christian/Islam full out war) avoided. All good discussion and theory.

by Michael Snyder, End of The American Dream

Will he be instrumental in establishing a single global religion for the glorious “new age” that the global elite believe is coming?  After he was elected, the cover of Time Magazine declared Pope Francis to be the “New World Pope“, and since his election Pope Francis has made it abundantly clear that he is going to make ecumenical outreach a top priority.

He has spoken of his “determination to continue on the path of ecumenical dialogue“, and he has already held a number of very high profile ecumenical meetings.  Not only has he worked hard to reach out to leaders from various Christian traditions, he has also made it a point to try to acknowledge the mutual bonds that he feels with all other religions.

For example, in one recent address he made it a point to say that he believes that Muslims worship and pray to the “one God” that he also worships.  This “all roads lead to the same God” philosophy is a hallmark of the one world religion that the global elite have been slowly building toward for decades.  The global elite know that even with a one world economy and a one world government, humanity will never be truly united until there is a single global religion.

Unfortunately, this one world religion that they are seeking to establish is diametrically opposed to the Christianity that we find in the Bible.  By throwing out Biblical truth for the sake of “friendship between men and women of different religious traditions“, is Pope Francis fundamentally betraying the faith that he claims to represent?

If there is going to be a one world religion, there will have to be a bond formed between Roman Catholicism and Islam.  They are the two largest religious traditions on the planet, and so any truly “global religion” would definitely require the participation of both of them.

That is one reason why what Pope Francis has already had to say about Islam is so noteworthy.  The following comes from remarks that he made during his very first ecumenical meeting

“I then greet and cordially thank you all, dear friends belonging to other religious traditions; first of all the Muslims, who worship the one God, living and merciful, and call upon Him in prayer, and all of you. I really appreciate your presence: in it I see a tangible sign of the will to grow in mutual esteem and cooperation for the common good of humanity.

The Catholic Church is aware of the importance of promoting friendship and respect between men and women of different religious traditions – I wish to repeat this: promoting friendship and respect between men and women of different religious traditions – it also attests the valuable work that the Pontifical Council for interreligious dialogue performs.”

But are “Allah” and the God of the Bible the same thing?

Of course not.  For example, Christians believe that Jesus Christ is God.  Muslims deny this vehemently.  For much more on why “Allah” and the God of the Bible are not the same, please see this article.

Here I leave the article proper and  link the complete post here.

At this point I am compelled to comment on the above  “Christians believe that Jesus Christ is God”.  Again naively I contribute a little of what I recall of the Bible – “I go to my Father to sit at his side and prepare a space for you” (roughly). To the best of my knowledge Jesus never claimed to be “God”. In quickly reading the link this article., I am not swayed by the arguments about the Holy Trinity being “the God”, they are in my opinion just another example of the human distortions and interpretations placed in translations in creating the versions of the Bible.

In any case, some Christians do and some don’t! (say that Jesus is God). whichever way, the statement is incorrect. In many ways the Islamic beliefs have sound foundations and are not to be taken as “gospel” when associated with extremist behaviour. Remember the extremist behaviour in the past history of the Christian religion?

Total media blackout now under way on most likely suspects in Boston marathon bombing

From ‘Natural News’, by Mike Adams, very interesting information and unanswered questions. Plenty of dots to connect here. Mike is being outspoken about this being another inside job and I can see why.

(NaturalNews) In a story that’s almost as explosive as the actual bombing itself, the mainstream media is waging a total media blackout on the photos of “The Craft” private military operatives who were present at the Boston marathon bombing.

NaturalNews.com and InfoWars.com have published a multitude of photos which absolutely prove that numerous members of “The Craft” private military contractors were actively engaged in operations at the finish line of the marathon.

This is photographic proof. In real police work, it’s called “evidence.” But astonishingly, there is not a single mention of “The Craft” in any mainstream media outlet: not NYT, not Washington Post, not LA Times, etc. Not a single word.

This is quickly becoming the biggest media cover-up of all time.

FBI now pushing a false script rather than pursuing real evidence

The FBI is also deeply engaged in the cover-up, selectively choosing the publicize photos of the patsies who are scripted to take the fall.

As part of its cover-up, the FBI has announced “other photos will not be deemed credible.”

Huh? The only photos that count are the ones you say count? How is that an “investigation?”

So even though we have a multitude of photos now showing at least ten men wearing combat uniforms, black backpacks and tactical gear, the FBI has no interest in these people! Even though we have already proven through photographic evidence that one of them is carrying a radiation detector and that nearly all of them are carrying black backpacks.

Reporter censored at press conference

Dan Bidondi, an Infowars.com reporter based on the East Coast, attempted to show photos of “The Craft” operatives during a public press conference and was immediately censored by government agents holding up clipboards to block his photos.

Incredible! No photos from the event that are not selected by the FBI are allowed to be shown!

Click here to watch the video report.

It begs the question: What is so dangerous about these photos of “The Craft” that a nationwide media blackout is being waged?

If there’s a simple, innocent explanation for all this, why would it be a problem to show the photos? Beware of any media outlet or government department that tells you “You can’t see THESE photos. That’s not allowed!”

These photos are BANNED by the media

The fact that these photos are banned by the media is nothing less than cowardly, in-your-face censorship. It’s one more good reason to turn off CNN and tune in to Natural News and other alternative media outlets on the web.

Remember: You are being told that all these photos (see below) don’t exist! And this gross omission by the mainstream media massively discredits themselves. To any person getting their news from CNN, MSNBC, Fox or any mainstream source, you are being played by a mind-control media that’s trying to sell you a scripted narrative.

Speaking of scripted narrative, see this image from two days ago for a startling warning from an “insider” who openly warned the world about how the Boston marathon bombing was all being scripted.

According to the script, a raid on the suspects’ home will be conducted on Friday, and officials will “find” black powder and an NRA book. This will be used to attack gun owners and shut down all civilian sales of black powder.

Here are some of the photos you’re not supposed to see

DIY Power and Load Leveling

A wealth of information about home power generating choices and ideas.

Musings from the Chiefio

The general ideas in this posting have been spread around in several other postings, some in comments. I’m mostly pulling things together here just to make it easy to find.

I’ve had an interest in Do It Yourself electric power production for, well, many decades. I was always fascinated by electricity and related, and was building radios and motors at about 9 years old. (Those ‘toy motors’ made from a battery, some nails, and a bit of wire). As a natural outgrowth of that comes the notion that a generator and a motor are largely the same thing, just a question of which force is driving whom… Then the ’70s happened. Between the “back to the Earth” folks (yes, I had a subscription to Mother Earth News for a while 😉 and the Arab Oil Embargo encouraging a lot of folks to find “alternatives” and my having an adventure prone…

Time to Say Thank You, Again!

Fast approaching 2 years of life for this “The Golden Rule” blog and its success is substantially due to a great deal of support from readers/viewers.

Knowledge will make you free

Knowledge will make you free (Photo credit: tellatic)

I would continue in any case for my own benefit because it is rewarding for me to express myself, to vent internal frustration, to practice creativity, to gain knowledge and to achieve self-understanding and a great deal about what is going on in the world. All these things make me a better person and contribute to my self-esteem.

Nevertheless, it is the knowledge that people are reading the posts, ‘liking’, ‘following; and ‘commenting’ that really gives me a buzz.  The “icing on the cake”, so to speak. If readers are also gaining insights into the world’s activities, behaviours and injustices this is a tremendously important result for me.

I like to think that information here is correct and relevant – some of it obviously factual, a lot of it is opinion offered by linked blogs and myself. Truth or correctness is often in the eye of the beholder, it seems. When conclusions are based on insufficient knowledge, or incorrect information, they are surely less likely to be correct. I do my best to avoid that source of error and also try to apply logic in an effective way.

It is clear that many people accept misinformation without realizing it, also that clear thought processes are seriously degraded by bias and emotive issues. Again, I try to minimize these influences in the quest for truth and justice, the blog’s aim.

I expect readers to let me know if they see such deficiencies produced here. Nobody is perfect and certainly not me.

So the first important thing is to offer a sincere, heartfelt and huge thank you, dear readers. I would ask your forgiveness if I fail to individually acknowledge reader responses. I mostly respond to comments but am unable to keep up with the ‘likes’ and even the ‘follows’. They are really appreciated and probably deserve more of my attention.

[A sort of afterthought – some genuine comments may inadvertently not be discernible from the spam queue. To make a comment obviously not spam, please say something specific to the topic and provide a sender name that is recognizable. And of course, if you are promoting any product or service, it would need to be very relevant to get out of the spam basket.]

Secondly, without the brilliant sources of information from which I draw, and often copy, material, the value of this blog would be much depleted. If I overstep the courtesy, copyright and/or ethical boundaries of outside suppliers, I sincerely apologize. It is hoped that I actually create extra exposure and recognition of your own blogs/identities sufficiently to compensate for my “plagiarism”.

On themes and topics: It is self-evident from the blog where I am coming from.

Health, justice, truth, respect, civil liberties, personal freedoms including free speech are the main positive issues.

Oppression, injustice, lies, aggression, killing, maiming, starving, deceiving and robbing are the main negative triggers for a critical post to appear here.

“Do unto others as you would yourself do unto them” works in most cases as a lifestyle and personal goal. That is, if you are not a sadist or a psychopath. Unfortunately the latter cases seem to largely dominate the higher echelons of what we still strangely call “civilization”. But we are talking about ideals, without which we are lost, however hard they may be to be put into practice.

Initially there is the Health topic. For my own benefit but hopefully useful to all.

Provocative and conspiratorial issues,  of course feature prominently.

I like to think that I have enough knowledge and enough intelligence to discern when the truth is not forthcoming in many issues. Obviously there are many who disagree, BUT there are enough readers and fellow bloggers that are on my side of the fence, to maintain my confidence in my own abilities to understand and fight the following social and political issues:

Terrorism, and Regime Change – Who are the worst terrorist influences, pretty well starting with the perpetrators of the 9/11 attacks.

“Climate Change” – The second-most misinterpreted political and scientific issue that is another instrument of destruction in the global community.

Medical Malpractice – A seriously suspect area of our civilization, ranging from the validity of “remedial” medications (eg, statins) through to “preventative” medications (vaccinations). Two adverse agendas arguably emerge here – profit and population control.

Global Financial Crisis – Why is the financial world so shaky and getting worse?

These are my “hobby horses”. Extremely contentious but much valid criticism and evidence exists to support the questioning of the officially accepted versions.

All four? I hear someone ask. Where does that place me in the overall scheme of things? (I shall ignore the unheard but guessed at negative answers).

Well, I think the simple answer is that they are in fact all connected, and the issues are all related to a real planetary threat, that of world domination by an evolving “New World Order”, (there’s that ‘nutter’ word again I hear).

That is how I see things, the dots connect that way. Follow the money. Think about it! Read about it. Not from the general press, although there are signs that they are drifting away from their owners’ and financiers’ agendas of misinformation.

To those doubters of what I suggest, the incredulous, please give yourselves some time to deeply consider the facts. Read, read and keep reading articles on the internet and at least wonder how much reality is to be found in the mainstream press and what really makes sense when you connect the dots!

Think about this – if I am wrong about these things, are any part of them, poor me, the fool. Not much harm done, I guess.  BUT, if I am right and the general public are going to find out that they are the “fools”, I wont gloat but will feel vindicated. The public, on the other hand, will curse themselves and have much to regret.

I am not asking people to take my word for anything, other than that these issues deserve consideration. I offer information and sources, together with my opinions and conclusions. Enough for people to become curious, realize the possibilities and to make up their own own minds.

Milestones: We have just burst through several significant numbers – an excess of 1000 posts, 200 followers and 32,000 hits.

Special thanks to: ‘The Internet Post‘, ‘JustMeinT‘, ‘Natural News‘, ‘Signs of the Times‘, ‘Musings from Chiefio‘, ‘COTO‘ and ‘nsnbc‘. Many others who will know who they are for also providing much of value.

Reaction to Boston Marathon Bombing From an Iraq Veteran and Longtime Boston Resident

The Boston Marathon death and injuries toll certainly raises our awareness of unnecessary violence and our compassion for the victims and their families. BUT, does it raise awareness of the global extent of what is going on everyday all over the world? This post should do that, if you have true compassion.

Terrorism – Difficult to Define – Difficult to Lay the Blame – Easy to be Suspicious.

Deja Vu, it seems. Another terrorist plot, several killed and many maimed in the Boston bomb incident. The usual media frenzy, the usual conflicting stories, the retractions, the government band wagon on the need for controls and the protection of the public, the inability to protect the public even when the ‘bomb squad’ were present before the explosions, the not ‘knowing’ who are the perpetrators.

The unanswered questions, once again, that give reasonable doubt as to the honesty of the authorities. From the linked sources:

Specific Commentary:

“a University of Mobile’s Cross Country Coach said there were bomb-sniffing dogs at both the start and finish lines, long before any explosions went off.” (NaturalNews)

” As an eyewitness reports, once the bombs went off, officials began announcing, “this is just a drill!” This logically means they were all informed of the “bomb drill” beforehand. Otherwise, why would they respond with, “this is just a drill” ?” (NaturalNews)

“The Federal Police of the USA, the FBI, has confirmed that the explosions were terrorist attacks.” (nsnbc).

” The official FBI website states, that the situation remains fluid, and that it is too early to establish the cause and the motivation for the terror attack.” (nsnbc)

Related Commentary:

“Disturbing is the habit of the FBI’s posing as terrorists with ties to Al Qaeda, approaching patsies who they then provide explosives and other weapons to, and help engineer an attack which they then “foil” to make spectacular headlines. Many times real explosives are test-detonated with suspects, before inert devices are switched in for the final attack.” (nsnbc).

“During the alleged plot, undercover FBI agents posed as accomplices who supplied Ferdaus with one remote-controlled plane, C4 explosives, and small arms that he allegedly envisioned using in a simultaneous ground assault in Washington.” (nsnbc)

From my own observance of a statement from the Australian ABC Radio News this morning “Marathon participants were all presented with commemorative jackets as compensation for the disastrous event conclusion”, or words to that effect. But they must have had the jackets ready for presentation in any case, so why say such a thing?  Enough to arouse my suspicions.

Please read the linked articles for their full stories.

Lewandowsky, Prof of Psychology, thinks the Labor Government doesn’t benefit if he calls their opponents “stupid”.

Deserving of much greater attention, JoNova posts this excellent critique of a person who “earns”  income from promoting “climate change”, who provides the government with the

Stupidity is contagious

Stupidity is contagious (Photo credit: AJC1)

false foundation for a carbon tax, and who provides the media with the material to brainwash the Australian public . Basically it is simply an issue of peddling propaganda.

You will see from Jo’s article that her criticism is readily and logically justified.

Stephan Lewandowsky’s work is a case study in government funded inanity. Some Australians are sure that burning coal will make storms stronger. Others are not convinced. In November 2012 Lewandowsky’s intellectual contribution to science in Australia was to call the unconvinced “stupid”. If that’s not inane enough, at the same time he claimed that he didn’t recieve funding from any organisation that would benefit from his article.

How many taxpayer dollars went towards funding that? No conflict of interest?

Are Australian Research Council funds used as a form of third party advertising for Labor Government policy?

Writing in “A storm of Stupidity, Sandy, Evidence and Climate Change” on The Conversation, his reasoning is like this: some scientists reckon that a very bad storm called “Sandy” has “links” to man-made emissions of a trace gas. Lewandowsky reasons that because those scientists are called “experts”, anyone who questions them should be called stupid. (He thinks this article and that tweet were overdue). Though, in a twist, apparently he doesn’t actually think the unconvinced are actually stupid, he thinks they are ethically “disembodied” people who “mislead”. (As an aside, notice how he approves of news articles that call them stupid even though he doesn’t really think they are. Is that a commitment to accuracy, science, and evidence, or a commitment to marketing and PR?)

In the end, a government appointed group of “experts” like the Climate Commission, declared that humans made a storm worse, and a government funded psychologist says they’re right and everyone else is dumb (or as good as liars) because they are not convinced we are changing the weather.

Note the “Disclosure Statement” next to the “Stupid” headline.

“Stephan Lewandowsky
Australian Professorial Fellow, Cognitive Science Laboratories at University of Western Australia

Disclosure Statement

Stephan Lewandowsky does not work for, consult to, own shares in or receive funding from any company or organisation that would benefit from this article, and has no relevant affiliations.”

Stephan Lewandowsky is funded by Australian Research Council Grants (ARC). The ARC is headed by a Labor Party Minister (though you’d have trouble figuring out which one, after Julia Gillard’s emergency reshuffle). The ARC site has a link to a “Minister” which now points at eight ministers. The top dog, probably, is The Hon Craig Emerson.

Let the money flow

Stephan Lewandowsky is a Winthrop Professor according to his CV. UWA tells us that is the highest level of researcher, earning $ 162,396. And that says a lot about standards at UWA, in the School of Psychology, and at the mostly government funded “Conversation” (which got $6 million in grants to get started). Lewandowsky’s name is listed on ARC grants totalling $2 million since 2007. (See here and here). More often, his “Disclosures” simply say he gets money from the ARC and has no commercial interest.

No Conflict of Interest?

The Australian Labor Party is an organization which has hinged everything on a belief that man-made climate change is a problem worth spending billions on. Their future and status are arguably “improved” if seemingly independent experts write about how smart they are, and how stupid the voters are who disagree with their climate policy. The Labor Party is not funding Lewandowsky directly, but Labor party members are in Government now, and decide what the Australian Government funds. The ARC is “an independent body” whatever “independent” means when the panel appointments, and the size of their funding is determined by the Government (and amount to about $880 million per annum). The ARC mission is to deliver policy and programs that advance Australian research and innovation globally and benefit the community. Note the word “policy”.

Access the complete source article here.

[Please excuse the taking of the opportunity to slip in a ‘related article’ naming another scientist of the same ilk, targeted by Tony Abbott for being part of the ‘climate change’ “scam”, Tim Flannery. (“Abbott to shoot climate messenger”)].

A Big Picture Look At “Earth’s Temperature” – “The Pause” Update

I realize that the general public can not be expected to fully comprehend the detail science aspects of global temperature trends, but this post is a very telling presentation and represents the type of information that supports the ‘skeptics’ beliefs and arguments.
It seriously challenges the “science” upon which the agenda driven climate scientists base their beliefs and arguments.
One needs to be sure that what they believe in is likely to be correct. Especially as they are risking their own future well-being by following the carbon control trail. To believe in saving the planet is absolutely correct but to be misled by the ‘climate change’ propaganda is unfortunate indeed.

Australian Medical Association calls for mandatory proof of vaccination

Because there are so many reasonable questions about the safety and efficacy of vaccinations, and so many pharma companies have demonstrated their agenda of profits before patient well being, mandatory vaccinations are not justifiable as acceptable procedures. It is easy to be suspicious of the AMA’s motivations.
