THE O’Farrell government will ditch UN sea-level rise predictions as the basis for coastal management, after local council decisions based on what climate change might do by the end of the century shattered waterfront property values.

Thus we see that the IPCC predictions about projected sea-level rises, supposedly based on settled science, have become an impediment to the local economy and are no longer being considered relevant. They would not be ignored if they were believed to be accurate.
