The 9/11 massacre story, blaming Bin Laden and his militant Islamist friends, is not going away anywhere, any time! The truth is not being told, there can be no doubt of this. This, however, is a true statement of fact: “what government and military officials had told Congress, the Commission, the media, and the public about who knew what when — was almost entirely, and inexplicably, untrue.”

COTO Report

When confronted with questions about World Trade Center 7 at a speech on Thursday at the University of Florida, bald Rudy Giuliani told long-haired radio host Bob Tuskin, “You are too rude to be entitled to an answer. May I suggest a haircut and a shower?”

Thanks, Clare for this meaningful and apt post. Truth is not always what it seems. Perhaps the word ‘truth’ now means ‘whatever a person wants it to be!’ However, WE know that the evidence, both scientific and motivational, is clearly not supporting the “incontrovertable” global warming/CO2 relationship.

JustMEinT's General Blog

Do you remember that film An Inconvenient Truth which portrayed Al Gore as an idealistic college student who first saw a massive environmental crisis looming; to a young Senator facing a harrowing family tragedy that altered his perspective; to the man who almost became President but instead returned to the most important cause of his life? With an emphasis on hope, An Inconvenient Truth ultimately shows (ed) us that global warming is no longer a political issue but rather, the biggest moral challenge facing our civilization today.

Well at least that is what Director Davis Guggenheim would have had you believe back in 2006 when the film was released. Of course since then hundreds (if not more) people and organizations have shown to the world just how wrong that assessment was. I have heard it said that An Inconvenient Truth is actually Convenient Fiction!

Confessions of a Lukewarmist

Global Warming

Here is a post that warms my heart. The author is not a technical person, or doesn’t claim to be. But it is a great example of logic applied to the assessment of evidence.

The COTO article by Rady Ananda reveals that there are qualified scientists willing to stand up to the bullying of the AGW and trying to counter the media misinformation and bias. She admits the significant influence it has on her.

“Today, the Wall Street Journal published a letter from 16 distinguished scientists addressed to political candidates entitled, No Need to Panic About Global Warming.

“Perhaps the most inconvenient fact is the lack of global warming for well over 10 years now,” they write, a fact that “is known to the warming establishment…”

The piece directly attacks the notion that carbon dioxide emissions are warming the globe, concluding with:

“Every candidate should support rational measures to protect and improve our environment, but it makes no sense at all to back expensive programs that divert resources from real needs and are based on alarming but untenable claims of ‘incontrovertible’ evidence.”

The term ‘incontrovertible’ refers to a policy statement of the American Physical Society which states, “The evidence is incontrovertible: Global warming is occurring.”

These guys are no lightweights. The group includes a Nobel Prize-winning physicist, the aerospace engineer who designed Voyager, past and present editors of scientific journals; professors from Princeton, Cambridge and MIT, and the president of the World Federation of Scientists.

This letter propels my shift from ardent warmist to lukewarmist, to, eventually, full blown skeptic, it seems.”

Greenhouse gases cool planets: Volcanos warm them

There are a large number of blog sites specialising in “Climate Change”. They vary from what WUWT terms ‘pro-AGW’, ‘luke warmist’ to ‘skeptical’.

This blog only dabbles in the topic but I am a firm skeptic and largely ride on the back of the more specialized sites. Nevertheless, readers will find a lot of useful information and a fair share of comment and opinion.

I would like to reference a post published on ‘The Tall Bloke“s site, highlighting one of many areas of legitimate claims supporting the skeptic view.

” The science is settled”! There is so much evidence countering this ridiculous claim that it seems to me the warmists really do have their head in the wrong place. Claims of debunking are just as easily debunked themselves, or are petty attempts to discredit authors without focussing on the message. Then the unethical attempts to prevent scientific papers being published add to the proof of unbalanced reporting.

Getting to the point – Here we have a good case for hypothesizing that the atmosphere containing the GHG‘s can be considered to be having the reverse  (cooling rather than warming), global temperature influence. Unless this turns out to be a “strawman” theory, easily proven to be false, it is an excellent example of demonstrating “unsettled science”.

“Thinking about the logical outcomes of Nikolov and Zeller’s ‘Unified Theory of Climate‘, a couple of ideas emerge which turn conventional climate science ‘wisdom’ on its head. It has long been believed that ‘greenhouse gases’ cause warming of the planet’s surface. While this may be true at the local level near the surface at certain times of day, I think I agree with Markus that the overall effect of ‘greenhouse gases’ is to cool planets. Here’s why:

Nikolov and Zeller have shown that by far the greatest influences on the surface temperature of a planet with an atmosphere are their distance from the Sun, and the pressure generated  at the surface by gravity acting on atmospheric mass. Planets with more GHG’s relative to their surface pressure, like Mars, are cold relative to their distance from the Sun. Planets with less GHG’s relative to surface pressure like Earth and Venus are warm.”

The Tall Bloke considers it to be a valid theory, as you will discover here.

Fukushima: A Nuclear War without a War: The Unspoken Crisis of Worldwide Nuclear Radiation

English: Internationally recognized symbol. De...

Image via Wikipedia

This topic is not new on this blog. Yet, in recent times, not much has been mentioned here. Because there are many global issues, perhaps none of them even as serious as the Fukushima radiation issue, but more ‘in our faces’, short-term crises, easier to write about and understand, closer to home, less technical, easier to accept (even though they, too, are matters of life and death), seem to rise more readily to the  conscious awareness level and hit one of the nerves of this site. Either injustices, lies and/or abuses of civil liberties.

The Fukushima NPP disaster story includes all these parameters. Incompetence in design construction and maintenance, disregard for human safety, incompetence in procedures, greed, cover-ups, government and media lies and mis-information and serious public health issues being ignored or worse.

What hopefully was a natural physical disaster – an earthquake resulting in a tsunami, has created a major, major human disaster scenario. Absolutely devastating for Japan and now fast becoming known to also be a world-wide radiation danger, particularly in the Northern Hemisphere.  Yet there are still many who continue to promote nuclear power generation as a ‘safe’ method. Sure, there are many factors involved, many degrees of safety, justifications and vested interests but the word ‘safe’ can no longer be legitimately used in connection with nuclear power.

Thanks to TIP for the awareness of the title article, posted on ‘Global Research Ca’, by Prof. Michel Chossudovsky. It is a great overview and source of much information and many links which bring together articles and videos on all aspects of the Fukushima disaster.

Some extracts:

“The World is at a critical crossroads. The Fukushima disaster in Japan has brought to the forefront the dangers of Worldwide nuclear radiation.

The crisis in Japan has been described as “a nuclear war without a war”. In the words of renowned novelist Haruki Murakami:

“This time no one dropped a bomb on us … We set the stage, we committed the crime with our own hands, we are destroying our own lands, and we are destroying our own lives.”

Nuclear radiation –which threatens life on planet earth– is not front page news in comparison to the most insignificant issues of public concern, including the local level crime scene or the tabloid gossip reports on Hollywood celebrities.

While the long-term repercussions of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster are yet to be fully assessed, they are far more serious than those pertaining to the 1986 Chernobyl disaster in the Ukraine, which resulted in almost one million deaths (New Book Concludes – Chernobyl death toll: 985,000, mostly from cancer Global Research, September 10, 2010, See also Matthew Penney and Mark Selden  The Severity of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Disaster: Comparing Chernobyl and Fukushima, Global Research, May 25, 2011)

Moreover, while all eyes were riveted on the Fukushima Daiichi plant, news coverage both in Japan and internationally failed to fully acknowledge the impacts of a second catastrophe at TEPCO’s (Tokyo Electric Power Co  Inc) Fukushima Daini nuclear power plant.

The shaky political consensus both in Japan, the U.S. and Western Europe is that the crisis at Fukushima has been contained.

The realties, however, are otherwise. Fukushima 3 was leaking unconfirmed amounts of plutonium. According to Dr. Helen Caldicott, “One millionth of a gram of plutonium ingested causes cancer”. “

“”While Chernobyl was an enormous unprecedented disaster, it only occurred at one reactor and rapidly melted down. Once cooled, it was able to be covered with a concrete sarcophagus that was constructed with 100,000 workers. There are a staggering 4400 tons of nuclear fuel rods at Fukushima, which greatly dwarfs the total size of radiation sources at Chernobyl.” ( Extremely High Radiation Levels in Japan: University Researchers Challenge Official Data, Global Research, April 11, 2011)”

“”Hazardous radioactive elements being released in the sea and air around Fukushima accumulate at each step of various food chains (for example, into algae, crustaceans, small fish, bigger fish, then humans; or soil, grass, cow’s meat and milk, then humans). Entering the body, these elements – called internal emitters – migrate to specific organs such as the thyroid, liver, bone, and brain, continuously irradiating small volumes of cells with high doses of alpha, beta and/or gamma radiation, and over many years often induce cancer”. (Helen Caldicott, Fukushima: Nuclear Apologists Play Shoot the Messenger on Radiation, The Age,  April 26, 2011)”

“A “coverup report” by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (May 2011), entitled Economic Impact of the Great East Japan Earthquake and Current Status of Recovery  presents “Economic Recovery” as a fait accompli. It also brushes aside the issue of radiation. The impacts of nuclear radiation on the work force and the country’s industrial base are not mentioned. The report states that the distance between Tokyo –Fukushima Dai-ichi  is of the order of 230 km (about 144 miles) and that the levels of radiation in Tokyo are lower than in Hong Kong and New York City.(Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Impact of the Great East Japan Earthquake and Current Status of Recovery, p.15). This statement is made without corroborating evidence and in overt contradiction with independent radiation readings in Tokyo (se map below). In recent developments, Sohgo Security Services Co. is launching a lucrative “radiation measurement service targeting households in Tokyo and four surrounding prefectures”.”

And so on, a wealth of information, a sure indication of a continuing, catastrophic, global health disaster and all its ramifications.

Global Research’s Online Interactive I-Book Reader brings together, in the form of chapters, a collection of Global Research feature articles and videos, including debate and analysis, on a broad theme or subject matter.

More information relevant to the elite and powerful, manipulating global control, finances, politics and warfare.  Eric Blair Activist Post , is the author. Warren Buffett and George Soros are believed to be two of the NWO front-runners.

“More recently, billionaire investor George Soros warned of a coming class war in the U.S. as reported by the Daily Beast, where he proudly points out that his prediction of riots in the streets has already begun.”

Global centralization of elections, privatized! (in other words – NWO in action)

Who's Afraid of World Government?

Quite a few readers are switched on to the fact, per evidence on this blog and many others, that world government control, under several names and guises is a reality and is in motion throughout the world.

It is being implemented in different ways. Creating public riots and introducing unelected leaderships by subterfuge. Convincing governments of “climate change” dangers and introducing financial and controlling body that control the government.  Encouraging debt creation situations and enforcing crippling and controlling solutions. When these more “subtle” (if your eyes are shut or blinkered), methods fail, start a war (pretend, invent or create an enemy). But, that’s not all, it is also effective if the election voting system is controlled by the aspiring winners.

Hence, this COTO post on the introduction  and implementation of private company election voting and counting systems, really works well in the countries that neither respond to the other tactics, nor have sufficient collective intelligence to even understand that they are being duped!

The post, titled “It’s here – Global centralization of elections, privatized“, by ‘Bev Harris, Black Box Voting ‘, suggests the latter method is being effected in “United Kingdom, France, Canada, Norway, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, South Africa, India and Australia”. Also in US in “over 525 jurisdictions in AL, AZ, CA, CO, DC, FL, KY, MI, KS, IL, IN, NC, NM, MN, NY, SC, TX, UT, WA. And growing”.

In a major step towards global centralization of election processes, the world’s dominant Internet voting company has purchased the USA’s dominant election results reporting company.

The Dignity of Corpses – the Dignity of the Living.

English: A map of countries visited by Secreta...

Image via Wikipedia

COTO posts an article by Robert C. Koehler titled “The Dignity of Corpses”.  [I’ll come to my extension of the title later.]

Robert’s story is so real, so appropriate, so ‘telling’ that it is important to read it.

We are talking about disrespect in regards of the enemy dead. That it is apparently not disrespectful to urinate on a dead body, or perhaps cut off some part of his body, from a fighting point of view. Admittedly, the US government has something to say about it being wrong.

Yet they, the government, send their young men out expressly to kill the “enemy”, where theybecome relatively inhuman in the act of so-doing, but much worse if they get carried away by their enthusiasm in carrying out their duty in ‘defending their country’ and getting into trouble for it. Of course, so they should, BUT who is really at fault here?

So the poor soldier, trained to kill, psyched up to “kill the mother-fxxxxers”, in reality turned into an animal by his country, confused about right and wrong, often soon mentally unbalanced, ignored and mistreated on return to his home country, cops the blame for his indiscretions.

Some extracts:

Civilization hasn’t successfully drawn a moral border at the sanctity of human life itself, but because it needs to put some limit on human behavior, it has, apparently, taken a last stand at the dignity of corpses.

It’s OK to kill your enemy, but not to urinate on him, at least not after he’s dead.”

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, exercising code-red damage control, said the men may be guilty of a war crime.  Official condemnation of the act has been far swifter and more severe than the routine statements issued by Pentagon spokespersons after the mere bombing of a village and the deaths of disputed numbers of women and children.”

“The point is made with more vehemence further down in the story, when the reporters quote a Vietnam vet who sneers at the public’s “naïveté” about war: “I did a hell of a lot worse in Vietnam than urinate on some dead bodies,” he said.  “We cut left ears off and wore them around our necks to show we were warriors, and we knew how to get revenge.”

When war is merely upcoming — with Iran, for instance — we talk about it with matter-of-fact abstraction and, of course, urgency.  Gotta do it now or . . . or . . . Iran will become a member of the nuclear club, and then there will be hell to pay. And then we go to war and there is, indeed, hell to pay, but we pay it with a shrug and the unspoken words: What did you expect?  “When you ask young men to go kill people for a living, it takes a whole lot of effort to rein that in.””

“Let us stop shrugging off the madness of war — and I mean that term literally. We try to contain this madness with crisp rhetoric, discipline and honor codes, but human psychology will have none of that.”

The reader surely cannot fail to understand Robert’s story and message, all of which can be read here.

My reaction to this incident is the same as it is to the whole war scene.

Where is the dignity and respect for the dead?

More important, where is the dignity and respect for the living? Once, it was the heathens, the barbarians, the gangsters, the pirates, the Nazis, the militant islamists, (not islamists in general) and a few more who were reputed as barbarians placing no value on human life.

Now,  once normal, peace-loving, family-loving, on-the-whole western, citizens have become so used to this continuous warring, they too are losing sight of the value and dignity of human life. They are prepared to see their young soldiers sacrifice their lives, bodies and minds in these false ideals of stopping terrorism and creating democracy.

As Robert says – “war is madness”. To accept it as a normal way of life makes  a mockery of our so-called civilization, where civility is becoming a thing of the past.

The US philosophy of interference and control in other countries is neither civilised nor legitimate. It is based on lies, misconceptions and hidden motivations.

It is up to the citizens of all Western countries to wake up to this madness and help prevent all the animal behaviour of which we need to be ashamed. It seems that we easily lose the concept of right and wrong and forget about the humanity of the “enemy” who are very often innocent, women and children.

By all means remind the offenders that although they were basically incited into this animal behaviour, if they want to maintain human respect for themselves, be able to tell their grandchildren that they were brave and worthy soldiers, they need to recognise their disrespectful behaviour. Alternatively, if they are the types who would boast that they killed and peed on another human being, I am sorry for them and their family.

The real blame rests on the shoulders of the warring governments and the citizens who support these atrocities. Most of these ‘wars’ are unnecessary and we lower ourselves far below acceptable human behaviour.  Where is the dignity and pride in our behaviour?

Missing!  Shame!

Another viewpoint on Globalist Power Brokering (or NWO)

New World Order

Image via Wikipedia

Kerry Bolton (henrymakow.com), posts a useful description of the make-up and procedures of the NWO hierarchy.

“A self-appointed elite that Huxley called the ‘World Controllers‘ and Caroll Quiqley described as ‘an international network’ has for generations been intent on establishing a ‘World State‘ (Huxley) or what David Rockefeller calls a ‘World Order’ and and what President George W. Bush and others …call the ‘New World Order.’
In more common parlance it is called ‘globalization’ but it is seldom understood in its wider ramifications, as set forth here, especially by the Left, whose activists support  aspects of the same globalization process: multiculturalism, feminism, marijuana liberalization, abortion rights, open borders, and feel-good causes in the name of democracy and ‘human rights,’  the results of which are further control by the global plutocracy.
The Left, including the communists have generally served as the useful idiots of international capital … The Left, whether in its Fabian, communist or New Left  varieties has been appropriated by the system it is supposedly exposing. A post- New Left has emerged since the dissolution of the Soviet Bloc, and takes the form of the so-called ‘color revolutions’ under the patronage of the Soros network, and others.
The strategy  used by the international oligarchy is the same as that more generally recognized as being a major element in Marxist doctrine; namely dialectics, the conflict of opposing forces that generates a synthesis. This dialecto method is something that Sutton realized when he was trying to understand why the oligarchy so often seems to be backing opposing ideologies, governments, and policies.”

“In general, it can be stated that many of these problems are the direct result of the debt-finance, trade and economic system that is operated by the oligarchs. Now the oligarchs present themselves as the solvers of the problems of their own making. A global “pincer movement” of agitation from “below” (the “Left”)  and manipulation from “above” (the “oligarchs”) dialectically operates to shift the center of mass political gravity towards an acceptance of, if not support for, a World State to end the crises that have been created by our self-appointed “world saviors.” “
