A bit like flogging a dead horse, except that that statement literally applies to a useless and dead object. The basis for alarmist AGW theory is scientifically unjustifiable, and although useless, it remains alive. However, although the blogging supporters continue to believe it and persist in vocal defence, just as we persist in vocally advocating the injustice, the governments adopting “counter” warming schemes have already made their beds in which they can lie together with the IPCC and its masters.
So, are we wasting our efforts because no changes will result? It often seems that way.
But to sit back and do/say nothing is not the way of the dedicated. To keep chipping away at the false edifice might just reveal the interior truth to those who matter. We have to try anyway!

(CNN) — As a veteran of combat in Vietnam, I am often asked about current wars. Recently I have been asked about soldiers posing with corpses or urinating on corpses in Afghanistan. The “patriotic” media wants us to understand what it is like to be a soldier in war, not to condone the conduct but to ask “who are we to judge?” They want to know about rules of war: “Are there rules about taking pictures with dead bodies?”
When I see these pictures, I am not shocked. I have similar pictures from Vietnam. And I’m in them. Such pictures are part of our warrior culture. Not everyone takes them, but they are not in any way unusual.
Look at the famous photos from Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq. The U.S. soldiers aren’t looking over their shoulders. None of them appears worried about being caught doing something wrong. They all look comfortable, often smiling for the camera. This tells me that the behavior captured in the photographs was S.O.P. (standard operating procedure).
What I find most disconcerting is all this attention to what is done to these dead bodies and absolutely no question or curiosity about why they are dead in the first place. No questions about why U.S. troops are still in Afghanistan at all.
More “ammunition” (from the almighty ‘pen’ as distinct from the sword), against war and war crimes. The warring situation has become so widespread and out of common-sense control that it seems impossible to see the end or even to see any methodology that might bring about such an end.
The ‘pen’ is in fact doing a great job in producing commonsense, logical truths and morals, but the reading and comprehension factors are not carrying forward the message.
The ‘pens’ of the propagandists and the promoters of purgatory are apparently mightier than the ‘pens’ of the righteous.

But there is an enormous chasm between honest attempts to approach the ideal of compliance with written law, and open disregard for it.
This endless warmongering is a frustrating thing to include in this blog. One gets a strong feeling of the futility of presenting the truth to the public. Nothing seems to change, except for the worse.
With this mention of the degree of involvement in Africa and the frightening inclusion of South America, the picture of how really bad the situation is becomes clearer and clearer.
Regardless of the truth being made available about Syria and the obvious setting up of Iran to be next, the US/NATO military steamroller thunders on.
Why are the general population so ignorant, uncaring and/or apathetic?
Europe is being controlled by financial means, many other countries by the Global Warming scam, all these mentioned here by military intervention with more to come, and the public sit back watching “reality” TV and computer games without virtually a murmur.
In reality, what is going on here is far worse than the Nazi war program. Perhaps not in intensity, but certainly in extent, geographically and demographically, and just as evil!
On the other hand, it may come to pass that Russia will demonstrate their willingness to oppose further interference. That, however, would mean a major, major war situation, unless their open opposition is turns out to be effective as a deterrent.
China are not complacent about the Western warmongering and may be forced to also declare their opposition. Potentially, the world is close to a catastrophic debacle. The blame lays clearly with the West.
I am no economist but I can see logic when it hits me in the face.
For decades, it has been obvious that a financial system based on growth has validity only whilst the growth continues, and then only if all other factors are favourable. To expect the growth to continue without end has to be a system in denial, unworthy of intelligent educated people.
