Global Warming – Sustainability – Corn and Control – NWO

A weird title, disjointed and unclear.

But so is the real world situation of government and NGO behaviour regarding energy utilization and planning, fossil fuel dependence and exploitation, CO2 and carbon controls and trading, globalization and world domination agendas and endless debates on all these, and thus we arrive at a small but important aspect – corn production and ethanol useage.

I might sum up the aforesaid debating as, not so much weird, disjointed and unclear, but perhaps confusing (or confused), a variety of topics and opinions and a wealth of genuine information and logic. Occasionally, a reader will offer some insight into a debate that raises my awareness and understanding and stands out as a ‘gem’.

Borrowing from WUWT‘s post ” Dispelling myths about global warming “, itself (the post and the blog in general), one of the many ‘gems’ from which we learn so much, I take the liberty of reproducing part of the ‘reader’s commentary’:

  1. A. Scott says:

richard verney says: March 26, 2013 at 4:05 am

One important factor not addressed by you, is surplus quantity. How much grain does the US export (say over the past 30 years), and much grain is exported in it food aid programme (say over the past 30 years)? A sub issue is the use of GM crops to try and make good the shortage of conventional crops which shortage has been caused by the switch in land use to biofuels.

I have addressed this question regularly. Anyone can go to the US Field Grain Yearbook (or the extensive other data the USDA provides) and find out the true facts instead of repeating partisan rhetoric.

As to corn – contrary to the claims that ethanol production has reduced or negatively affected corn exports:

*Total US Corn exports averaged 47 million metric tons a year fro period 1991-2011. The average US corn exports for the peak ethanol increase years of 2002 – 2007 was 51 million metric tons with a top number of 6o.7 million metric tons in 2007/08.

*During the period since corn use began increasing due to ethanol – 2002 thru 2011 – US corn use for fuel increased from 997 to to 5,018 million bushels. Yet the US exports increased significantly during the height of that period.

*Prices both increased AND decreased significantly from 2002-2011, despite corn used for ethanol growing substantially.

*The US has met ALL domestic use, both food and fuel, met ALL export demand, AND has still maintained an average annual surplus of 1.4 billion bushels during the period 1991-2011

The price of US corn/grains is only one factor and the issue is not whether (due to efficiencies) the US can produce grain at a cheaper price than some foreign country can do so through its own domestic production. Some suggest that the increase in grain price was one factor behind the Arab Spring which, in itself, has led to thousands of deaths. So political commentators consider that there has been an increase in the price of export grains

More unsupported allegations. The US has provided, during the 1991-2011 period, up to 92% of Egypt’s corn imports – on average over 71% each year during this entire period.

The truth is in the data. While US corn exports declined slightly from 2008 – from an almost exactly average year of 47,900 million metric tons to appx 39,000 million metric tons in 2011, its is becasue the other corn exporting country’s – Argentina, Brazil, India and the EU combined, increased their corn exports from 16,900 to 52,200 million metric tons from 2005 to 2011. Their cheaper corn has reduced the overall export demand in the US.

And what about your claims about prices? Again the data tells the truth.

*1971-1991 Corn prices averaged $2.28 a bushel, with prices mostly between $2.50 and $3.20 for that period.

*1991-2011 Corn prices averaged $2.57 a bushel, with prices mostly between $1.85 and $3.04 for that period.

*2001-2011 Corn prices averaged $3.37 a bushel, with prices mostly between $1.97 and $3.55 for that period.

There are short, speculator driven spikes during each of these periods, as with today. But the reality is, absent those short spikes, Corn prices today are very little changed than they were in the 1970′s

Regardless – lets take the 1971-1991 average of $2.28 a bushel and compare to the 2011 price of $5.18. That would be a 127% increase from 1971 to 2011, a 40 year period. That would be an average annual increase of just over 3%.

From 2001 to 2011 the US supplied 0.566 billion metric tons of corn exports comprising 52% of ALL world corn exports. Most of that corn was supplied at the same prices as corn sold for in the 1970′s.

Anyone that claims the US has not done, and is not doing, greatly more than their fair share, regardless of whether it is about export quantity or price, is simply not living in the real world, or has an agenda to push.

Once again – the US is providing for ALL domestic demand, including ethanol, is providing for ALL export demand, and sill maintains an appx 1 to 2 billion bushel domestic reserve.

We also effectively maintain an appx 5 billion bushel further domestic reserve thru the ethanol industry, which the ethanol industry demonstrated in 2012. With low crop yields and substantial losses related to the drought, and production well below projected, the US ethanol industry reduced corn their usage in 2012 by almost the entire amount below projections.

Egypt has huge oil reserves and revenue. It is not our responsibility to provide this rich nation cheap, subsidized food. We already provide the majority of their corn import demand and have for many years. And we do so at fair, market prices. It is Egypt’s responsibility to provide for their people – and they have plenty of money to do so should the ruling elite so choose.

  2. A. Scott says:

One more for Richard Verney. From Rami Zurayk, professor of agricultural and food sciences at the American University of Beirut and author of Food, Farming and Freedom: Sowing the Arab Spring. He addresses pretty much exactly what I said:

Already, in Egypt and Yemen, more than 40% of the population live below the poverty line and suffer from some form of malnutrition. Most of the poor in these countries have no access to social safety nets.

“Bread riots” have been occurring regularly since the mid 1980s, following policies brought to us by the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. Among these were the reduction of agricultural subsidies and the encouragement of production of fruits and vegetables for export, at the expense of investing in local grain production. Export of value-added produce and the import of basic commodities such as wheat were monopolised by a small group of “entrepreneurs” protected by the security state who financially backed the ruling elite…. The US gave Egypt around $1.7bn last year, exceeded only by the $2.4bn it gave to Israel.

Not only are we providing the majority of their corn (and other) imports, we are sending huge sums of other aid.

Again – the “State” and the ruling elite have vast sums of oil money at their control, yet seemingly refuse to use it.

SO, I believe that there is much understanding to be gained here. “About many things”, misconceptions of CO2 “dangers”, corn production and ethanol useage, through to   financial controllers and world politics.

Humour – Sadly and Badly Needed – Modern Naval Procedures – Political Correctness – Health & Safety

Thank the Lord for my friends, one of whom emailed me this:

English: Braunston-The Admiral Nelson The Pub ...

ADMIRAL NELSON THEN & THE BRITISH NAVY NOW !

Nelson: “Order the signal, Hardy.”

Hardy: “Aye, aye sir.”

Nelson: “Hold on.., this isn’t what I dictated to ‘Flags’. What’s the
meaning of this?”

Hardy: “Sorry sir, what do you mean?”

Nelson (reading aloud): “England expects every person to do his or her
duty, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religious
persuasion or disability. What ‘gobbledygook’ is this for God’s sake?”

Hardy: “Admiralty policy, I’m afraid, sir. We’re an equal
opportunities employer now. We had the devil’s own job getting
‘England’ past the censors, lest it be considered racist.”

Nelson: “Gadzooks, Hardy. Hand me my pipe and tobacco.”

Hardy: “Sorry sir. All naval vessels have now been designated
smoke-free working environments.”

Nelson: “In that case, break open the rum ration. Let us splice the
main brace to steel the men before battle.”

Hardy: “The rum ration has been abolished, Admiral. It’s part of the
Government’s policy on binge drinking.”

Nelson: “Good heavens, Hardy. I suppose we’d better get on with it,
full speed ahead.”

Hardy: “I think you’ll find that there’s a 4 knot speed limit in this
stretch of water. It’s an environment protection initiative.”

Nelson: “Damn it man! We are on the eve of the greatest sea battle in
history. We must advance with all dispatch. Report from the crow’s
nest, please.”

Hardy: “That won’t be possible, sir.”

Nelson: “What?”

Hardy: “Health and Safety have closed the crow’s nest, Sir, no
harness; and they said that rope ladders don’t meet regulations. They
won’t let anyone up there until proper scaffolding can be erected.”

Nelson: “Then get me the ship’s carpenter without delay, Hardy.”

Hardy: “He’s busy knocking up a wheelchair access to the foredeck Admiral.”

Nelson: “Wheelchair access? I’ve never heard anything so absurd.”

Hardy: “Anti-discrimination requirements, sir. We have to provide a
barrier-free environment for the differently abled…..”

Nelson: “Differently abled? I’ve only one arm and one eye and I refuse
even to hear mention of the word. I didn’t rise to the rank of Admiral
by playing the disability card.”

Hardy: “Actually, sir, you did. The Royal Navy is under-represented
in the areas of visual impairment and limb deficiency.”

Nelson: “Whatever next? Give me full sail. The salt spray beckons.”

Hardy: “A couple of problems there too, sir. Health and safety won’t
let the crew up the rigging without hard hats. And they don’t want
anyone breathing in too much salt; haven’t you seen the adverts?”

Nelson: “I’ve never heard such infamy. Break out the cannon and tell
the men to stand by to engage the enemy.”

Hardy: “The men are a bit worried about shooting at anyone, Admiral.”

Nelson: “What? This is mutiny!”

Hardy: “It’s not that, sir. It’s just that they’re afraid of being
charged with murder if they actually kill anyone. There are a couple
of legal-aid lawyers on board, watching everyone like hawks.”

Nelson: “Then how are we to sink the Frenchies and the Spanish?”

Hardy: “Actually, sir, we’re not.”

Nelson: “We’re not?”

Hardy: “No, sir. The French and the Spanish are our European partners
now. According to the Common Fisheries Policy, we shouldn’t even be in
this stretch of water. We could get hit with a claim for
compensation.”

Nelson: “But you must hate a Frenchman as you hate the devil.”

Hardy: “I wouldn’t let the ship’s diversity co-ordinator hear you
saying that sir. You’ll be up on disciplinary report.”

Nelson: “You must consider every man an enemy who speaks ill of your King.”

Hardy: “Not any more, sir. We must be inclusive in this multicultural
age. Now put on your ‘Kevlar’ vest; it’s the rules. It could save your
life.”

Nelson: “Don’t tell me – health and safety again! Whatever happened to
rum, sodomy and the lash?”

Hardy: “”As I explained, sir, rum is off the menu! And there’s a ban
on corporal punishment.”

Nelson: “What about sodomy?”

Hardy: “I believe that is now legal, sir.”

Nelson: “In that case…. Kiss me, Hardy!”

Bank Restructuring is Essential – Iceland sets the example – Why is everyone else so Stupid?

Lyndon H. LaRouche, Jr.

Lyndon H. LaRouche, Jr. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Iceland Parliament’s Economics and Trade Committee unanimously passes resolution.

The Icelandic parliament, called Althingi, on 18 March was presented with a unanimous motion from its Economics and Trade Committee, calling for a Glass-Steagall-style banking separation. Iceland has led the way in successfully defying the diktats of the IMF in responding to the global financial crisis, and this is the latest example. The motion, number 239, reads in part: “The minister shall set up a committee to explore whether and in what way the separation shall be conducted in order to minimize the risk of the banking system to the economy of the nation.”

A statement from The Schiller Institute in Denmark and Sweden, which included the international Glass-Steagall legislative fact sheet, and a section from a recent article by Helga Zepp-LaRouche dispelling three lies against Glass-Steagall, were sent to all members of the committee, and were also posted on the parliament’s homepage. The SI statement urged the members to pass the motion, and let them know that the world was watching their actions.

“The Schiller Institute, and the international political campaign associated with the American economist Lyndon LaRouche, urge you to pass the bank separation motion no. 239 on your agenda tomorrow.

“This will not only be important for Iceland, but also for many other countries which are considering bank separation legislation.…

“Iceland has chosen to follow a different path than austerity and maintenance of the speculative financial values, as is being done in too many other countries.

“Therefore, we hope that the Icelandic Althingi can also show the way towards full bank separation—the most important first step for a recovery of the general welfare and the production-based, not speculation-based, economy.”

The website entry was in the form of an opinion about bank separation motion #239, the only statement in favor of the resolution, the rest arguing against from the Icelandic banking establishment.

Click here for a free copy of the latest Executive Intelligence Review magazine, the international intelligence journal founded by Lyndon LaRouche which names names and exposes the truth behind current events.

I cannot believe how stupid the rest of the world is!

The global financial system is bankrupt and is destroying country after country. It is quite clear that the big banking empires are quite ok with this, in fact it’s what they want.

But it is clearly wrong and unworkable. If civilization is to have a future that supports workers and families, and of course, the remainder of the populations that have worked so hard in the past to create the economic stability that is now vanishing because of greed and in-sensitiveness, there has to be a balance within a country and a degree of stability.

The current path we are following does the opposite and supports only the rich and powerful. It is obvious that the heart of a country’s viability lies in the well-being of the masses. The only alternative end result is for the public to become slaves. That already exists to a large degree but the difference will be that the ‘new’ slaves  will not have any freedoms and comfortable life-styles. In America for example, much worse.
Countries must have their own banking systems to support the citizens and be free of merchant bankers hell bent on profit and no regard for customers. A separation of housing and small business finance from the financiers makes good sense. Also a separation of a country’s economy from overseas control. Too late in a lot of cases but if the cause of the problems is understood, at least there is some chance of reversing this disastrous trend.

I do not blindly follow the La Rouche doctrine but in regard to the banking situation, it seems that he is the only person lobbying for a workable future solution. Nobody else has any idea how to stop the rot and turn around the decline.

Australia’s “Angry Summer” – Misrepresentation by the Australian Climate Commission.

I hope at least some of the Australian public get to see and understand this.

Sad how authorities can fabricate “evidence” and publish lies and even sadder that the public are too naive to suspect they are being conned.

The lemon detox diet – a recipe that really works, but!

Master Cleanse day ten of ten

Master Cleanse day ten of ten (Photo credit: t r e v y)

From ‘Natural News‘ this article by Aurora Geib, appears to very much deserve a look.  Simple cheap and natural, of course.

However, in reading some of the related articles, it seems that all is not straightforward. So the question arose – do I simply forget the idea of copying and publishing this, or, as is now obvious, publish it with the detracting information clearly designated.

A strange situation, unlike any post I have ever done. So worth the experiment. The reader gets to make a choice and make up their on mind from all the information, not just one side. So please read the related articles as well. It may well be effective, but cannot be sure it is wise.

Let me know what you think, please!

Personally, full on detoxing, especially this one, is severe and caution is recommended. The need for a separate laxative is worrying to me. In most cases of health seeking, it would probably make sense to add this lemon and maple syrup drink to your normal, healthy diet for improved health results. (Unqualified person making an unqualified statement!)

(NaturalNews) Ever since Beyonce Knowles was associated with the Lemon Detox diet, there has been a surge of interest in this particular program. Also known as the Master Cleanse, this detox diet has been around for almost 50 years and has seen variations on its recipe and program. It’s effectivity in breaking down built up toxins in the body while contributing to short term weight loss has made it a popular option for a spring detox.

Reviewing the Master Cleanse

The Lemonade Detox diet first became effective, strangely, when its creator, Stanley Burroughs, recommended it for the healing of stomach ulcers. In his book “The Master Cleanser“, he goes on to share how he first came to test the Master Cleanse diet on a patient who was suffering from ulcer for three years. Left with no other recourse, the patient approached Stanley who recommended that he undertake the cleanse. After eleven days, the patient was totally healed to the amazement of the doctors. Many other cases followed with same consistent and astounding results corrected within ten days. Of particular note also was that those undergoing the Master Cleanse also experienced a reduction in weight.

If there have been doubts as to the veracity of Stanley Burrough’s claim of the Lemon Detox diet’s effectivity, there have been testimonies over the years of its efficacy. Of recent vintage is Tom Woloshyn’s work, “The Master Cleanse Experience”, published by Ulysses Press in 2009. This book briefly mentions Woloshyn’s experience in advising clients who has undergone the Master Cleanse program and provides among other insights health benefits which include better sleep, positive outlook, clarity of mind and freedom from addictions. He, thus, advocates keeping a journal to monitor developments as well as a reference for future use when undergoing the program for the second or many more times over.

The Master Cleanse operates on the principle that, for disease to be addressed, cleansing must be undertaken. Simplifying and correcting disorders through this process is actually a way of correcting every disease. Developments in nutrition and science have clearly identified improper diet, negative mental attitudes and inadequate exercise as the factors that create the conditions to produce toxin build up over time. That is why the Master Cleanse is not an end to itself. It is actually just the tip of a long chain of healthy decisions of those who wish to undertake it. Observing a healthy diet, regular exercise as well as stress reduction is essential in maintaining the gains that the Master Cleanse Detox diet can offer.

Unlawful taking of Cyprus bank deposits.

This unbelievable move on a country’s independence is clearly the thin, or not so thin, edge of the wedge, being driven by the globalist banking, world dominating movement.

They must not be permitted to get away with this unlawful activity.

Even the mainstream media are commenting on this, much of the public will become aware of the dangers that exist from government collusion with outside authorities.

This collusion is also happening in Australia.

Be aware, educated and active in opposing attacks on your freedom.

AGW – More ‘climategate’ emails, more revelations

Global Warming

Global Warming (Photo credit: mirjoran)

Over at WUWT, news of another batch of sensitive emails revealing the inner workings of the few, (not thousands), of scientists who are responsible for initiating the carbon based attack on our civilization. An attack supposedly based on science which allegedly proves that CO2 emissions contributed by mankind’s industrial energy thirst are statistically certain to be driving our climate into an irreversible, lifestyle and economic,  global, catastrophic future.

There, is, however, an alternative hypothesis of which I am a supporter, that strongly suggests almost the opposite. In fact, that a man-made scam of global proportions is threatening our future civilization on the back of the above CAGW claim.

This debate rages ever onwards, with more and more clarity supporting us so-called ‘deniers’ of ‘climate change’. At the same time, the civilization-crushing wheel of carbon controls and trading rolls on, initiated by some scientists who probably in good faith, created the global warming picture. This, even though a decade or so earlier a global cooling scenario was underway with precisely the same political agenda until it became untenable.

The press, including much of the scientific branch, heavily influenced by political and financial persuasion, have conned the public into an almost religious fervour, literally blaming ourselves for destroying our planet. Certainly major pollutions are having a devastating effect, but to concentrate all this energy on CO2 as an/the important villain is clearly unscientific and illogical.

Governments, in some cases also conned, but in other cases I am sure, are in with the globalist movement that drives the destructive vehicle forward. Scientists, once genuinely providing what looked like evidence that warming was real, partly caused by CO2 and becoming destructive, are now caught in a cleft stick, having to defend themselves frantically for the sake of pride and income, as their hypothesis of CAGW is now becoming more and more untenable.

The public, already seriously brainwashed, and who can blame them?, also hang on to their beliefs with fervour, for their pride and intellect are now threatened. They clearly show little comprehension of the possibility of their having been misled and are fixated into a state of being incapable of logical thinking.

If one reads reader comments on social websites, it is possible to find the most inane statements about ‘climate change’ causes and solutions, beliefs that border on childishness. On scientific sites such as WUWT, opposing comments are fewer and more sensible, in general. Nevertheless a lack of logical analysis sometimes applies, in particular from the readers who are often labelled trolls and have obviously fallen for the propaganda or are deliberate stirrers.

After what has become a huge preamble, I would like to refer to some of what has been said by the releaser of this new group of emails, when he explains his philosophy on his ‘whistle blowing’.

“That’s right; no conspiracy, no paid hackers, no Big Oil.  The Republicans didn’t plot this.  USA politics is alien to me, neither am I from the UK.  There is life outside the Anglo-American sphere.

If someone is still wondering why anyone would take these risks, or sees only a breach of privacy here, a few words…

The first glimpses I got behind the scenes did little to  garner my trust in the state of climate science — on the contrary.  I found myself in front of a choice that just might have a global impact.

Briefly put, when I had to balance the interests of my own safety, privacy\career of a few scientists, and the well-being of billions of people living in the coming several decades, the first two weren’t the decisive concern.

It was me or nobody, now or never.  Combination of several rather improbable prerequisites just wouldn’t occur again for anyone else in the foreseeable future.  The circus was about to arrive in Copenhagen.  Later on it could be too late.

Most would agree that climate science has already directed where humanity puts its capability, innovation, mental and material “might”.  The scale will grow ever grander in the coming decades if things go according to script.  We’re dealing with $trillions and potentially drastic influence on practically everyone.

Wealth of the surrounding society tends to draw the major brushstrokes of a newborn’s future life.  It makes a huge difference whether humanity uses its assets to achieve progress, or whether it strives to stop and reverse it, essentially sacrificing the less fortunate to the climate gods.

We can’t pour trillions in this massive hole-digging-and-filling-up endeavor and pretend it’s not away from something and someone else.

If the economy of a region, a country, a city, etc.  deteriorates, what happens among the poorest? Does that usually improve their prospects? No, they will take the hardest hit.  No amount of magical climate thinking can turn this one upside-down.

It’s easy for many of us in the western world to accept a tiny green inconvenience and then wallow in that righteous feeling, surrounded by our “clean” technology and energy that is only slightly more expensive if adequately subsidized.

Those millions and billions already struggling with malnutrition, sickness, violence, illiteracy, etc.  don’t have that luxury.  The price of “climate protection” with its cumulative and collateral effects is bound to destroy and debilitate in great numbers, for decades and generations.

Conversely, a “game-changer” could have a beneficial effect encompassing a similar scope.

If I had a chance to accomplish even a fraction of that, I’d have to try.  I couldn’t morally afford inaction.  Even if I risked everything, would never get personal compensation, and could probably never talk about it with anyone.

I took what I deemed the most defensible course of action, and would do it again (although with slight alterations — trying to publish something truthful on RealClimate was clearly too grandiose of a plan ;-).

Even if I have it all wrong and these scientists had some good reason to mislead us (instead of making a strong case with real data) I think disseminating the truth is still the safest bet by far.”

So here we have some insight into this part of the ‘climate change’ debate, or debacle as I like to call it. I see this as pure commonsense. Genuine human endeavour. Down to earth, devotion to truth and justice. Stark contrast to the ‘climate changelings’

Just to finish off, in reading one of the related articles below, This extract of an email from one of the “warmist” scientists is enlightening: (Reference here.) [Formatting slightly edited]

“Three Final Points
>
>There are three important points to make about the reported warming of the last 20 years:
>
>1. The warming has occurred mostly at night and not during the day. This result is inconsistent with a warming caused by greenhouse gases, but is consistent with urban heat island and other surface effects.
>
>2. The reported warming has occurred only at the surface and not in the upper atmosphere. This type of warming is completely opposite to what is predicted if greenhouse gases are the cause.
Again these observations are consistent with problems in the surface measurements.
>
>3. The warming has occurred primarily in the Northern Hemisphere mid-latitudes with little in the polar and tropical
regions. This result is consistent with urban influences, but is
incompatible with the climate warming predicted from
greenhouse gases which predict it to be largest in the polar regions.

>In short, the reported warming is inconsistent with warming due to greenhouse gases in its temporal, vertical, and
geographical distribution. The reported warming is consistent with problems in the surface network.”

If this is an example of “settled science” and of “97% climate scientists agree” I am very pleased and comfortable to be on the skeptics side of the debate. Sincere thanks to ‘Mr FOIA’ for his endeavours and public service.

Thank also to WUWT for their/his wonderful contribution to my and the public’s understanding of genuine climate science and the fight for truth.

“Using the Earth & Inhabitants as Test Subjects”

This Title refers to another intelhub article itself titled ” Military Choppers Spotted In Groves Above Florida as Drills Ensue ” linked here.

Gulf of Mexico Dead Zone

Gulf of Mexico Dead Zone (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

By Bob Tuskin
Intellihub.com

March 15, 2013

My wife and I have been wondering why there has been multiple numbers of military helicopters flying in our skies this week so I decided to look into it.

Blackhawks and Chinooks have been active in the skies from North Florida to South Florida in what Maj. Mike Burns (a public affairs spokesman for the Air Force) calls a large training operation by the US Special Operations Command.

The flights have been active all week, including night operations. According to Ocala.com, ”A press releases issued by Miami Dade County advises that the exercise includes the use of military helicopters and simulated gunfire. The training is meant to prepare participants for combat missions in urban areas and to prepare forces for upcoming overseas missions, according to the release.”

We at Intellihub.com have long speculated as to where what (edited), the government is actually training for as drills have ramped up over the past few years. It seems that these war games have had more of a domestic nature to them in recent days in violation of Posse Comitatus.

The true intention aside, it is shocking to see how many drills are taking place on U.S soil today. Oddly, in Pittsburg Kansas we have seen Blackhawk helicopters being used in drills for the ROTC.

However, beyond the drills utilizing these military helicopters, the Navy has actively been involved with all sorts of disturbing tests domestically. From drones to barium testing, they seem to be very active period.

Rosalind Peterson, who will be appearing in Shade the Motion Picture (a new documentary film scheduled for release April 15, 2013) highlights much of this in her article entitled “U.S. NAVY’S TWELVE 5-YEAR WARFARE TESTING PROGRAMS & THE INCREASING & ONGOING THREAT TO THE GULF OF MEXICO, ATLANTIC & PACIFIC OCEANS”.

She writes;

U.S. Warfare Training Range History & U.S. Cooperating Agencies

Starting under the Bush Administration and continuing under the Obama Administration, twelve U.S. Navy 5-Year Warfare Testing Range Complexes, initiated between 2008 and 2012, are in full operation in the Gulf of Mexico, the Atlantic, and the Pacific. [7]   The tragic oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico is still threatening local economies, human health, the fishing and tourism industry.  The oil and Corexit pollution has been threatening this environment for years.

Adding to this ongoing problem in the Gulf of Mexico, the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force, with permits approval by NOAA (National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration), have now started another assault on this area using multifaceted warfare testing experiments that include bomb blasts, sonar use, missile exercises, and the testing of new weapons systems.  NOAA has issued permits allowing the U.S. Navy to “take” marine mammals in the Gulf of Mexico, the Atlantic and the Pacific Oceans areas[4-7].

NOAA (U.S. Department of Commerce – National Marine Fisheries Service), had previously approved the “taking” of marine mammals in the Gulf of Mexico.  And then NOAA, in the first few months during the Gulf of Mexico oil spill, admitted that they knew little about the marine environment in this underwater area.  Now NOAA has issued permits to the U.S. Navy and Air Force for 5-Years of warfare testing in the Gulf of Mexico (December 19, 2011 [4+6-7]), and in other areas, which may exacerbate the current environmental problems in the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean. [4]

Using the Earth & Inhabitants as Test Subjects

Our oceans and land areas, in the Pacific, Atlantic, and the Gulf of Mexico along with all inhabitants, are to be used as warfare test guinea pigs without public consent, debate, U.S. Congressional hearings or any public oversight.

Drone Weapons Testing & Surveillance Over the United States & Pacific, Atlantic & Gulf of Mexico

In addition, the U.S. Navy is now working to expand their drone operations over the United States.  In Oregon, a new draft Navy Environmental Impact Statement is due out this spring for public comment [9].  Drones carrying and testing bombs, new weapons systems, testing new types of drones, and surveillance over land and ocean areas are planned for our future. Compounding this issue, as reported by The Guardian.co.uk on April 2, 2012,  “…American scientists have drawn up plans for a new generation of nuclear-powered drones capable of flying over remote regions of the world for months on end without refueling…” [20].  In addition, there is increasing drone surveillance leading to questions over public privacy in the U.S.  Accidents are increasing as police departments in Texas and other areas are increasing drone usage [21-22].”

With all this in mind, one is only left wondering what the military is really gearing up for?
