“The west coast of North America is thousands of miles across the vast Pacific Ocean, a long way from Fukushima Daiichi and the radioactive solids, liquids, and gases being released daily and recklessly to poison both near and far. Already we are seeing the effects in North America.

“Air filters from cars in Seattle have been analyzed for hot particles and indicate that Seattle residents are inhaling 5 hot particles a day, in Tokyo it is 10 hot particles a day, in Fukushima Prefecture it is 30-40 times higher – 300-400 hot particles a day.

“Iodine 131 in drinking water in San Francisco was reported by UC Berkeley to be 18,100% times higher than the EPA drinking water standard, yet the US government quit measuring it.

The issues here are:

  • Radiation health effects which are serious, extensive, fatal and worsening.
  • Media and government cover-ups which are unforgiveable and criminally culpable.
  • The serious claim that the Japan tsunami was not a natural disaster, but a deliberately induced attack on the Japanese people. Further commentary on this will follow, there is much to be assessed.

I do not see why we should doubt the medical data concerning increased infant mortalities or the claimed cause of radiation poisoning. However, the deliberate genocide claims need to be examined thoroughly before public acceptance can be expected. I have seen much written about this and am inclined to believe the offered evidence.  There is just too much evidence from many different sources giving strong support for this to be ignored or fobbed off as a conspiracy theory. Conspiracy? Yes. Theory, I don’t think so but more evidence needs to see the light of day.

So the intent of this blog to provide factual, relevant and important information concerning the people’s well-being is achieved by raising awareness and warning of radiation dangers and cover-ups resulting from Fukushima Power Plant devestation.

The genocide factor will be addressed carefully as/if it becomes indisputable. It is already a factor in the global warming carbon trading scheme, and gets a clear mention in the ‘motivation’ chapter, (see Carbon Attack page above). This alleged physical attack is another matter.

Norway – Why the violence?

I learned last night from an Israeli online journal, that two days before  the Utoya Island massacre,  AUF’s (Labour Party’s youth movement)  leader Eskil Pedersen gave an interview to the Dagbladet, Norway’s second largest tabloid newspaper, in which he unveiled what he thinks of Israel.

In the course of the interview, Pedersen stated that he “believes the time has come for more drastic measures against Israel, and (that he) wants the Foreign Minister to impose an economic boycott against the country.”

Pederson went on to say, “The peace process goes nowhere, and though the whole world expect Israel to comply, they do not. We in Labour Youth will have a unilateral economic embargo of Israel from the Norwegian side.”

The AUF Labour Party Youth Movement have been devoted promoters of the Israel Boycott campaign, The Dagbladet newspaper reporting that “The AUF has long been a supporter of an international boycott of Israel, but the decision at the last congress, demands that Norway imposes a unilateral economic embargo on the country and it must be stricter than before.”

“I acknowledge that this is a drastic measure”, stated Pedersen, “but I think it gives a clear indication that we are tired of Israel’s behaviour, quite simply”.

Yesterday we also learned that mass-murderer Anders Behring Breivik was openly enthusiastic about Israel. According to a variety of internet outlets,  Behring Breivik was a regular poster on several Norwegian internet sites, notably the blog document.no, which is run by Hans Rustad, a former left-wing journalist. Hans Rustad is Jewish, extremely pro-Zionist, and warns against ‘Islam-isation’, violence, and other social problems he assumes to be connected with Muslim immigration.

Alongside the UK’s infamously Islamophobic Harry’s Place and other Jewish pro-war Zionist blogs, the observant amongst us are becoming more and more aware of an increasingly pervasive trend of Jerusalemite internet journals that — ostensibly – like to give the impression of ‘rallying for the preservation of Western culture,’ and of ‘standing up for democratic values’.  For the most obvious of reasons, these blog pages are almost exclusively focused on ‘the problem of Islam,’ and on Muslim migrants’ ‘troubled and reactionary’ communities and politics, whilst all the while, simultaneously, relentlessly and forcefully propounding a propagandistic Zionist agenda.  Interestingly enough, other immigrants are routinely depicted on these blog pages as being ‘harmless’, or as ‘positive contributors to society’ — you won’t find Hans Rustad or  Harry Place criticising  the Jewish Lobbies, the Lord Levy’s or the Russian Oligarchs’ disastrous  impact on ‘Western culture’ or on ‘democratic values’ any time soon.

Gordon Duff wrote yesterday in “Veterans Today” that the “car bombing carries the signature of an intelligence agency.  Nobody else bothers with such things.”

And indeed it is after all, pretty clear that a car bomb of such magnitude, and an operation of such sophistication is not exactly something a layman can put together with such apparent ease: it would surely take some specialist knowledge, and the question here is, who could provide such knowledge, and such a vast amount of lethal explosives?

I am not in a position at present to firmly point a finger at Israel, its agents, or its sayanim — but assembling the information together, and considering all possibilities may suggest that Anders Behring Breivik might indeed, have been a Sabbath Goy.

Within its Judaic mundane-societal context, the Sabbath Goy is simply there to accomplish some minor tasks the Jews cannot undertake during the Sabbath. But within the Zion-ised reality we tragically enough live in, the Sabbath Goy kills for the Jewish state. He may even do it voluntarily.

Being an admirer of Israel, Behring Breivik does appear to have treated his fellow countrymen in the same way that the IDF treats Palestinians.

Carbon offsets have already run out of credit

This post  refers to an opinion published by Julie Bishop,  Deputy Leader of the Opposition. I have no political leanings because no major party (including the Greens), has yet shown sufficient commonsense, dedication to the citizens needs or understanding about what is really going on in the world, to attract my support.

However this particular article agrees with my understanding of the futility and foolishness of the government’s Carbon Tax scheme, so I am pleased to include it in my contributions to the blogging media.

A key element of Prime Minister Julia Gillard’s carbon tax policy is designed to ensure that Australia reaches the target of a 5 per cent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2020, not by cutting that volume in emissions from Australia, but by purchasing carbon credit offsets from other countries.

When asked recently about the purchase of offshore permits Julia Gillard said: “Yes, this is going to be an internationally-linked scheme, and so it should be.”

It is alarming that the Prime Minister has given no indication that she is aware or has any understanding of the recent history of the operations of international carbon credit markets.

Just six weeks ago, the World Bank reported that the international market in carbon credits has suffered a debilitating collapse and expressed doubt about the ongoing viability of global markets.

According to the World Bank, trading in credits commenced after the Kyoto Protocol was adopted in 2005, and about $25 billion was generated over the years to 2009.

However, that market collapsed to $1.5 billion last year, due to ongoing concerns about the commitment of nations after the expiry of the Kyoto Protocol in 2012.

The United States withdrew from the Kyoto Protocol in March 2001 and has indicated it will not commit to any replacement treaty, while Russia, Japan and Canada have all stated recently that they will not continue with the Protocol after it expires.

On December 28, 2010, the European law enforcement agency EuroPol issued a media release about extensive defrauding of the European Union emissions trading system.

EuroPol reported that it had raided several hundred offices throughout Europe and had arrested more than 100 people.

In one operation in Italy, the police conducted raids on 150 companies in eight regions as part of an investigation into huge volumes of suspected fraudulent transactions on the Italian Power Exchange.

EuroPol reported that raids also occurred in Norway, Switzerland, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Latvia, the Netherlands, Slovak Republic and Portugal.

After these actions, trading volumes in Europe dropped by 90 per cent.

It appears that 90 per cent of trades in the European Union emissions trading system were fraudulent, resulting in a loss to European taxpayers of more than $6.6 billion.

The Wall Street Journal concluded that the EU emissions trading system was not actually a functional scheme at all but was a “political smokescreen” to enable European politicians to claim “green” credentials, while avoiding the difficult decisions on reducing emissions.

A former correspondent for Australian Associated Press based in Port Moresby wrote this week of his observations of the “cowboys” who flocked to Papua New Guinea in pursuit of carbon credit riches.

He detailed the first arrival in 2009 of “carbon cowboys” offering villagers “sky money” for the right to use their land in international carbon trading schemes.

This led to alleged corruption of local officials who also stood to gain from these get-rich quick schemes.

Prime Minister Gillard is proposing in her carbon tax policy that an estimated $57 billion of Australian taxpayer funds will be sent offshore to buy “carbon offsets” to enable this country to reach Labor’s new target of an 80 per cent reduction in emissions by 2050.

The logic of her proposal is that Australians should pay people overseas tens of billions of dollars for the right to burn our own coal and to meet her commitment that the coal industry has a “bright future”.

This is apparently to be achieved through a non-existent (at this stage) international trading system.

It is naïve at best for the Prime Minister to assume that such a scheme will emerge given the clear signals internationally that major emitting nations are moving away from trading in carbon credits.

Of more concern is that Julia Gillard appears blithely or wilfully unconcerned about the fraud and criminal activity that has beset trading in carbon credits in developed countries of the European Union, let alone what is taking place in developing countries.

Deloittes Australia has warned that carbon credit fraud is “the white collar crime of the future”.

The Prime Minister must explain clearly why it is that her carbon tax on what she terms “the big polluters” in Australia will not meet the emissions reduction target by 2020, and why billions of taxpayer funds need to be sent offshore in order to do so.

She must also detail the measures and safeguards which will have to be put in place to ensure that the tens of billions of Australian taxpayer dollars committed to purchasing international carbon credits do not end up in the clutches of the carbon cowboys.

Fukushima – a part of the on-going disasters.

Many tragedies are current in the world.

  • In Australia, the ‘carbon tax‘ issue is foremost. Yet its ramifications are worldwide and catastrophic. Not the ‘climate’ aspects, but the financial and social aspects.
  • Then there is the actual pollution by the oil industry, still a disaster area in the Mexican Gulf. Still a human tragedy as the people and their welfare are ignored.
  • The US military and associated aggressors continue their murdering and pillaging. An international crime against civilization.
  • The US downhill economy and bankruptcy, together with the internal destruction of its society, continues unabated. Their citizens’ health, employment and welfare are also deteriorating. Also ignored by the Whitehouse and Congress.
  • Also the Somalian famine disaster, easily avoided if all the IMF wealth, wasted money and energy on fighting wars was redirected.

So, to some extent, the Fukushima disaster, actually potentially an even worse global issue, is often overshadowed. Perhaps a good time to update with Arnie Gundersen (anti-nuclear activist a known fact, but an expert nevertheless), the on-going dire Japanese and international radiation dangers.

A couple of personal comments. He mentions mushroom radiation levels, dangerously high, and the point that they were grown inside. I cannot understand why even the experts seem to think that radiation is only a danger outside in the open.

Similarly, the proposed ‘containment’ of radiation by building huge tents over the reactor buildings. Normally one considers that radiation needs to be contained in thick steel, lead or concrete enclosures. Will some-one please enlighten me?

I rarely allow myself to be publicly rude or crude, but this may be an appropriate time to follow some other more forthright bloggers and say this disaster source would be more aptly named Fukuanme rather than Fukushima.

Malcolm Turnbull, CO2 emissions trading, Britain and MOTIVATIONS.

This is the full article. I endorse all of it as factual information, but have some reservation regarding some of the terminology and personal vitriol.

A good summary of the debacle of carbon trading and its ramifications.

The global warming scam has again flashed its “Made in Britain” label, in Opposition Leader Malcolm Turnbull’s sudden brinkmanship on the emissions trading scheme. During the Rudd Government, no issue has been more divisive in the parliamentary Liberal Party than Rudd’s CO2 emissions trading legislation, the Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme. Instead of waiting for his party to agree to a position, Turnbull blew up the situation on 2ndOctober, by publicly attacking Liberal MPs who don’t support an ETS as “reckless and irresponsible” and “anonymous smart-arses”, and issuing an ultimatum-of-sorts, that he wouldn’t “lead a party that is not as committed to effective action on climate change as I am”. What is being called Turnbull’s “brain snap” caught everyone by surprise, but what’s most telling, is its timing—immediately after he returned from two weeks in Britain.

Britain is the birthplace of both the “science” and the “politics” of climate change superstition. The so-called science was invented by the British oligarchy’s genocidal “eugenics” project, originally founded by Charles Darwin and Sir Thomas Huxley, and led for the decades of the 1930s-1960s by Sir Thomas’s grandson, Sir Julian Huxley. Eugenics was race science—purifying the British Empire of “undesirable” strains through population reduction, euthanasia and forced sterilisations. Post-WWII, Hitler’s genocide was recognised as bad PR for eugenics, so Julian Huxley repackaged it as “environmentalism”, and helped to found Prince Philip’s population reduction charity, the World Wildlife Fund, in 1961.

Sir Julian Huxley’s cousin, Sir Crispin Tickell, another avowed population reductionist, launched climate change as a political issue in 1987, when as science adviser to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, he convinced Thatcher to issue a call at the United Nations for urgent international action to combat climate change. Thatcher’s call led to the establishment of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), under Tickell’s supervision. Current British Tory leader David Cameron, with whom Turnbull fraternised on his visit, is firmly in the “Maggot Hatcher” tradition on climate change, and is said to be even more radical than Labour Prime Minister Gordon Brown on the subject.

And, of course, Turnbull has his own, personal, motivation—Goldman Sachs. Turnbull made his fortune heading the Australian division of the giant Wall Street-City of London investment bank, which is now the world’s single biggest vested interest in an emissions trading scheme. The bank owns 10 per cent of Al Gore’s Chicago carbon exchange, and Gore’s three partners in his Generation Investment Management hedge fund in London, David Blood, Mark Ferguson and Peter Harris, are like Turnbull, all former Goldman Sachs executives.

In “The Great American Bubble Machine” published in the July edition of Rolling Stonemagazine, author Matt Taibbi characterised Goldman Sachs as “a great vampire squid wrapped around the face of humanity, relentlessly jamming its blood funnel into anything that smells like money. …

“The formula is relatively simple: Goldman positions itself in the middle of a speculative bubble, selling investments they know are crap. … They’ve been pulling this same stunt over and over since the 1920s—and now they’re preparing to do it again, creating what may be the biggest and most audacious bubble yet. … the new game in town, the next bubble, is in carbon credits … a groundbreaking new commodities bubble, disguised as an ‘environmental plan,’ called cap-and-trade. The new carbon-credit market is a virtual repeat of the commodities-market casino that’s been kind to Goldman, except it has one delicious new wrinkle: If the plan goes forward as expected, the rise in prices will be government-mandated. Goldman won’t even have to rig the game. It will be rigged in advance.”

Turnbull’s recklessness underscores the City of London’s desperation to launch carbon trading, as their current financial system implodes. It is a vehicle for more globalisation, to block moves back to national sovereignty, and it provides a new financial infrastructure, a variation on classic British monetarism: reduce everything to a monetary value—“thin air” in the case of carbon trading—so it can be controlled by the money power.

Sea-level rises are slowing, tidal gauge records show

ONE of Australia’s foremost experts on the relationship between climate change and sea levels has written a peer-reviewed paper concluding that rises in sea levels are “decelerating”.

The analysis, by NSW principal coastal specialist Phil Watson, calls into question one of the key criteria for large-scale inundation around the Australian coast by 2100 — the assumption of an accelerating rise in sea levels because of climate change.

Based on century-long tide gauge records at Fremantle, Western Australia (from 1897 to present), Auckland Harbour in New Zealand (1903 to present), Fort Denison in Sydney Harbour (1914 to present) and Pilot Station at Newcastle (1925 to present), the analysis finds there was a “consistent trend of weak deceleration” from 1940 to 2000.

Mr Watson’s findings, published in the Journal of Coastal Research this year and now attracting broader attention, supports a similar analysis of long-term tide gauges in the US earlier this year. Both raise questions about the CSIRO‘s sea-level predictions.

Again more conflicting science to question the “settled science”.

What Keeps the Earth Cooking?

Though the Earth has cooled since its formation, the core of the Earth may be still as hot as 7000 K. The main source of Earth’s internal heat is produced through decay of radiogenic isotopes, in particular radioisotopes of uranium, thorium and potassium. This process provides a continuing heat source in the Earth’s interior.

A paper published in Nature Geosciences describes how Berkeley Lab scientists joined their KamLAND colleagues to measure the radioactive sources of Earth’s heat flow. Kamioka Liquid Scintillator Antineutrino Detector (KamLAND) is a project at the Kamioka Observatory, an underground neutrino observatory near Toyama, Japan.

Geologists have used temperature measurements from more than 20,000 boreholes around the world to estimate that some 44 terawatts (44 trillion watts) of heat continually flow from Earth’s interior into space. Where does it come from?

Radioactive decay of uranium, thorium, and potassium in Earth’s crust and mantle is a principal source of the heat. Geoneutrinos are byproducts of this nuclear reaction. In 2005 scientists in the KamLAND collaboration, based in Japan, first showed that there was a way to measure the contribution directly. The trick was to catch what KamLAND dubbed geoneutrinos – more precisely, geo-antineutrinos – emitted when radioactive isotopes decay.

Neutrinos are elementary particles with nonzero mass and travel close to the speed of light. Anitneutrinos are antiparticles of neutrinos produced in some nuclear decays. Neutrinos are also part of the background radation.

“As a detector of geoneutrinos, KamLAND has distinct advantages,” says Stuart Freedman of the U.S. Department of Energy‘s Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley Lab), which is a major contributor to KamLAND. Freedman, a member of Berkeley Lab’s Nuclear Science Division and a professor in the Department of Physics at the University of California at Berkeley, leads U.S. participation. “KamLAND was specifically designed to study antineutrinos. We are able to discriminate them from background noise and detect them with very high sensitivity.”

More to the point, where does it go? What contribution does it make to the atmospheric and surface heating that we (well, some of us), are excited about?

To convert the estimate in the MSNBC news article to watts per meter squared, 20 trillion watts must be divided by the area of the Earth [5.1 x 10^14 meter squared] which yields a heat source of 0.039 watts per meter squared.

This is well less than the  significant radiative forcings as estimated in figure SPM.2 in the 2007 IPCC WG1 report and, except for local effects where lava flows and volcanic eruptions are occuring , this heat is of minor climatic importance [the outgassing of sulphur dioxide and other chemicals and of ash, of course, are a different issue].  The heating of the interior and resulting effect on currents in the Earth’s mantle, however, are important in climate on very long time scales as this helps drive plate tectonics, such as continental drift.

Younger disabled still stuck in aged care

Many younger people with serious disabilities are still being forced to live in aged care homes despite a COAG push to move them out of nursing homes, disability support advocates say. Many seriously disabled people under 50 have no choice but to live in aged care facilities because it is the only way they can get the care they need.

Five years ago the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) decided to try to address the problem by moving them to more appropriate accommodation.

A report out today says the program has reduced the number of young residents in aged care by 29 per cent, but advocates say that still leaves a lot of young people living in aged care. When Lynette Smith’s father died, her mother had no choice but to put her in an aged care facility. Lynette was only 33. “The first 12 months more or less I didn’t leave my room, there was no activities here or anything that was suited to me,” she said. Next year she will move into a house with four other younger people with disabilities.” It will be fantastic, more like a home environment. We can listen to music and we get a say in what we want to do,” she said.  Ms Smith has been helped by the five-year project set up by COAG in 2006. In the first four years it moved 139 people out of aged care facilities, and 207 people were prevented from entering such homes. More than 400 young people are staying in aged care, but with extra support.

But the head of the Federation of Disability Organisations, Lesley Hall, says that is not good enough. “I would have liked to have seen no people under the age of 50 living in aged care facilities,” she said. She says that would have been possible over four years if there was enough funding. But Dr Bronwyn Morkham from the Young People in Nursing Homes Alliance says the COAG program has been a big success. “It’s just that we still have 6,500 young people waiting in nursing homes for the same opportunity,” she said.

They include people like 47-year-old Vicki Witkopp, who had to move into an aged care facility last year after she developed a medical condition that means she needs the support of two nurses. Ms Witkopp is engaged and wants to move into a home with her fiance, with nurses coming in during the day. “To contemplate that my husband might have to come in every night for a couple of hours for the next 40 years is ludicrous,” she said.

The Federal Government has guaranteed funding, so the 1,100 people already helped by the COAG program will not have to end up in nursing homes. But it is up to the states and territories to provide funding for additional people to be diverted from aged care facilities.

Scientists Gagged From Interpreting Study That Links Climate Change To Cosmic Rays (Revised 22/7/11)

Head of the world’s leading physics lab has issued a gag order preventing scientists from stating their interpretation of a  study that links historical climate changes to cosmic rays.

For years now scientists and physicists have presented study after study showing data, along with their personal interpretations, supporting the hypothesis that the alleged Global Warming phenomenon is due to man-made environmental factors affecting climate change.

Now, a major scientific experiment to conducted study the interaction between cosmic rays and cloud formation reveals that historical climate patterns coincide with the penetration of cosmic rays into the earth’s atmosphere.

However, the Chief of world’s leading physics lab at CERN in Geneva who conducted the study has prohibit scientists from presenting their own interpretations of the CLOUD experiment.

Another brick in the wall of evidence that the science, acceptable to our Australian Government, is not settled or even likely to be correct. Certainly not “correct” enough to justify burdening the Australian people with a ‘Carbon Tax‘

So just where are we at?

Firstly, there is supportable evidence that the world-wide push for carbon controls is politically rather than scientifically driven.

Secondly, there is only disputed evidence regarding the degree of man-made CO2 being a planetary temperature influence.

Thirdly, there is serious doubt about the degree of warming and the future trend, which might in fact currently be a cooling trend. (Conceivably, as a consequence of reduced solar activity (ignored by IPCC), and, wait for it, increased pollution).

Fourthly, even in the unlikely,(IMHO), event that CO2 was a villain, the effect on global warming of any changes to Australia’s emissions would be miniscule.

Fifthly, a Carbon Tax, the thin edge of a wedge, would create for Australia a highly negative economic trend, for no gain whatsoever.

All in all, a highly unsatisfactory situation. One on which the Labour Government rests its future. At its own doing.  The pity of it all is that the Coalition are just as ignorant and incompetent, or should I say impotent?

When Julia says she would rather take advice from the CSIRO than Alex Jones, she forgets three things:

  • 1. The CSIRO is funded by her government and may just possibly not be impartial.
  • 2. When Alex Jones speaks, with the exception of some mis-information, he is saying what thousands of other people, including scientists, are saying.  Jones is after all, only a reporter, they are all prone to error, but the theme of the message could actually be valid.  His errors pale into significance compared to the errors being made by our government.
  • 3. The science is not settled, as is demonstrated by this cosmic ray factor, and the gagging order, hardly science is it?

Mr Turnbull is having his say:  (I say he is talking rubbish!)

Delivering the Virginia Chadwick memorial lecture last night, Mr Turnbull said a war was being waged on scientists by “those opposed to taking action to cut emissions, many because it does not suit their own financial interests”.

Mr Swan is saying China et al are holding Australia responsible because we have a much higher per capita pollution figure. I say that if we weren’t trying to tell them what to do, they would not be saying a word about us. They know and we know, our pollution contribution is miniscule!
