Our World of madness. Impressive posts from TIP

Whilst taking it easy during a time of health challenge, very little has been published  here.

TIP (The Internet Post) has made up for this  with the following posts summarised rather than reblogged.

Enemies In Name Only: Washington, Al-Qaeda, And Jupiter’s Lightning Bolt.Concerning the continuing charade that is the attack on Syria and the Western evil, lies and destruction. “We are now clearly entering a new phase in the propaganda war with regard to Syria, heralded by the NATO-aligned establishment now using the presence of Al-Qaeda fighters in the country, many of whom were airlifted into Syria by NATO powers, as a justification to launch a wider military assault.

The Most Dangerous Fundamentalist Extremists In The World.  Concerning the drive behind all the chaos and mayhem, the agenda which is called ‘getting on with business’, but which is a ’cause’ based on profiteering, power and control, falsely under the name of ‘humanitarianism’. “When you do business you bring prosperity wherever you go and that means you are God’s gift to this world.  Any who stand in the way of God’s work are evil so removing evil-doers from the earth makes the world a safer and better place. You are absolutely entitled to destroy whoever and whatever is in your way, it is your God given right.  This is the same self-excusing logic that all fundamentalist extremist religious whack-jobs believe.  It is exactly the same thing.”

War on Home Gardens – Canada Town Outlaws Food Self-Sufficiency Concerning the injustice of controlling home-grown foods and the madness that is inherent in the authorities ability to get away with it. “Drummondville officials turned on the couple and told them that they would have to remove most of their garden or else face a daily fine of up to $300 — and the couple was given just seven days to comply with this demand.”

Health – The ominous direction of Australasian legislation

An extremely important issue raised by the ” Alliance for Natural Health “:

Are Australia and New Zealand charging down the path labelled ‘European Union (EU)-style vaccination and natural healthcare policies’?

Pressure to vaccinate

All over the world, the pressure on parents to vaccinate their children is constantly increasing, and Australia and New Zealand are no exceptions. Indeed, Australia recently became the first country in the world to introduce the controversial human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine for boys. Pressure on parents often comes from family doctors, friends and peers, usually through a well-meaning misunderstanding of the ‘herd immunity’ concept. This pressure is often exaggerated through an unholy alliance of confusing legislation, unclear science and an hysterically pro-vaccination media. Just such a situation recently occurred in Australia – and may well be on the cards in New Zealand.

David Icke on Aspartame – (Wait, there’s More, much More!)

Just following my mood from a linked blog and came across this very interesting post.

Here, David Icke, known for his sometimes extreme but usually correct information on World Domination and other things necessary for our correct understanding of the world, tells us much more than the video title “Aspartame” would suggest. Pretty well blown away by this, it is a must to share it with our readers.

(Always going on about shooting the messenger, because its a common mistake and causes a lot of perfectly good information to be spun off course). David Icke is known to be far out in some regards, in areas which I have no belief. There is nothing in this video to raise any doubt in my mind as to the authenticity of his claims.

Statistics: US Census Data Worst In 50 Years – Nearly 100 Million Poor In America

A useful post given the financial crisis continues, even though we don’t get a lot of truthful information except from the internet.  Love the term “well massaged statistics” which we have come to accept world-wide, unfortunately.  Grim stuff, nothing massaged here.

InvestmentWatch clarifies the picture somewhat.

Despite the government’s well massaged economic statistics the latest census data shows its bad out there. Really bad.

As world leaders finally begin to admit that we are smack dab in the middle of another Great Depression and the economy stands at the cusp of another earth-shaking collapse of the financial system, the US census reports that nearly 100 million Americans are now classified as living in poverty or are considered “near poor.”

That’s nearly 1/3 of our populace who are living in the worst economic conditions in nearly fifty years.

It’s About Energy

The very term “its about energy” is the “all” about us and the world/universe we inhabit.

I am drawn to this concept and its reality and I acknowledge your following my blog with this comment and by reblogging this particular concept.
The concept of ‘we’ are the change is profound and makes sense. The problem is establishing who “we” are. As individuals we have the means to control our own lives and possibly influence others, (for better or worse), to search inwardly and outwardly for energy, knowledge and guidance. The degree to which we find, recognize and process these parameters is maybe up to us or perhaps ‘in the lap of the Gods’.

What if the ‘we’ are actually of members of, what I refer to as the ‘ungodly’, who are the instruments of the devastation of humanity and civilization?  The same theory applies in as much as ‘they’ have the same potential relationship with the energy and its reality, BUT, they choose to  ignore the good implementation of this potential for their own selfish ends.

The power of our own connection with, and use of, energy for good, selfless living is absolutely positive, yet the gap between the two extremes is large and virtually disconnected.

Nevertheless, the power of good is inherently potent and using whatever energy we have, or have access to, for good is undoubtedly worthy and worthwhile.

patriciawalls

Everywhere that we are looking for the “answers”.  Everywhere that we are looking for a “change in our environment”.  Everywhere that we are looking for someone to “fix” us.

What if we are the answer?  What if we are the change? What if we don’t really need fixing?

Considerations.  Questions.  Ponderings (is that a word????)

I have been playing with the questions.  The more I ask, the more opens.  The more that opens, the more I ask.  It’s been fantastic!

And, the questions have led to me really looking at myself.  Looking at what I created in this lifetime.  Looking at the choices that I made to get myself here.  And, realizing that it was me that got me here… not anyone else.  There is no one to “blame” or to give credit for where I am right now this second, except me.  It truly is all about me.

Have you…

Selective Outrage and Empathy In The USA

This ‘Sott.net‘ post might just sink in, to the public consciousness of American and other complicit countries’ residents, and help sort out their bias and short-sightedness. Of course most of the human damage, and its extent, being caused overseas is not available to the public through the mass media. In fact it is deliberately restrained, distorted or covered by lies. Much of the blame thus rests with the press and its string-pullers.

Nevertheless, many Americans and others are blinded by their patriotism (dubiously earned, IMHO), to some extent racism, and as this post points out, lack of empathy.

The post is titled ” Selective Outrage and Empathy In The USA – The Anaheim and Colorado Shootings ” and authored by Lisa Giuliani.

I’ve been sitting here watching the reaction to two stories snowball as the minutes roll by.

1. The Colorado Theater shooting
2. The Anaheim Police Ambush of a group of protesters, which included women and children.

What I couldn’t help but notice is the almost instantaneous knee jerk reaction of MANY people here in the United States on Facebook to both of these stories, I notice the IMMEDIATE OUTRAGE. How dare men in uniform fire upon Americans?!! How HORRIBLE that people were killed in a movie theater!!

Yes, both of these stories are awful. I, too, am concerned and upset that people have been harmed or killed.

I notice the sudden unity that seems to happen when a story hits the public view – when Americans are harmed or when there’s a perception that Americans have been harmed – and the hype that invariably goes hand in hand with it. Reminds me of how people here were outraged after 9/11, when they were being peddled the bullshit about Arab terrorists flying planes into the Twin Towers. So many of us who normally have little to nothing to say on the plethora of news stories pumped out daily depicting mass murder, genocide, ethnic cleansing, torture, massacres, drone strike killings – suddenly RISE UP LIKE LIONS when the victims are like us, American.

Maybe it’s just me, but it seems as though a lot of you seem to only give a shit when the media is screaming that other Americans are being wasted and it’s happening HERE.When it’s American children, my, my, how people RISE UP and show their fangs and pump their chests and start circulating their gun pictures.

Everybody’s a tough guy.

We have endless amounts of compassion for people who we see as “LIKE US”, don’t we?

It’s pretty disheartening to see this, because day in and day out, there are countless numbers of people in the Middle East being killed by other men ( and women) in uniform. There are inordinate numbers of women and children being fired upon, entire families murdered – day in, day out by U.S. and Israeli soldiers and by private mercenaries. all courtesy of YOUR American taxpayer dollars.

5 Reasons to Embrace Home Canning

Once again, thanks to ‘Care2’ for this useful post by

Home canning might seem more like an activity your grandparents did than something busy people in our day would embrace. But canning homegrown and local foodsis undergoing a revival, and many people now see canning as a key element of eating local, sustainable, healthy food. Here are some reasons you might like to join the ranks of modern canners:

5 Reasons to Embrace Home Canning

1. Keep it local, year-round

If you don’t preserve food when it’s in season, you generally have to rely on grocery store, out-of-season produce that was shipped from far away. By canning local or homegrown foods when they’re in season and at the peak of their nutrition and flavor, you can enjoy those foods through winter. This is a smart choice for personal and environmental health.

2. Avoid additives

By canning your own foods, you know exactly what you’re adding to those jars. Foods from the store—whether processed foods or commercially canned foods—can contain a whole host of additives, from artificial colorings and flavorings to loads of added salt.

3. Avoid BPA in can liners

If you do like using canned foods in your kitchen, note that most of those metal cans at the grocery store have a liner inside the cans that contains a controversial chemical called BPA. Tests show that BPA—because it is in constant contact with the foods in the cans—does leach into the foods. Tons of evidence shows that BPA is a dangerous and potent endocrine disruptor linked to several serious conditions.

4. Supplies are pretty inexpensive and easy to find

Get a basic water-bath canner—new or used—some jars and lids, and a few other simple utensils, and you’re all set to start the process of home canning.

5. Have fun!

Myself and many of my friends love having summer canning parties during which, together, we can chat, laugh, listen to music, and share fresh produce. Canning can easily become a way to connect with friends or neighbors. A lot about our modern food system is isolated—consumers are almost completely isolated from growers and food processors. Growing your own food—or getting it directly from a farmer at a local farmers market—and canning it with friends breaks down such isolation and creates more meaningful connections.

Think About Replacing Lawns with Gardens

Regular readers will be aware of the diversity of topics of interest to the author. There is some commonality, however, and that amounts to personal well-being.

What I read relates to my own well-being, what I “write” relates to  others and the hope that occasionally I contribute something towards their well-being. This can mean the truth about anything from political activities, world government, evil in action, the environment,  to direct personal issues such as health and self-sufficiency or survival.

Which brings us to this post and its source. ‘Care2’, whose motto is “make a difference” and it specializes in this latter personal well-being area.  I like this particular theme of creating self-sufficiency in food and will follow up with a second related post.  There is an assumption that a garden will use less water than a lawn. Lawns and gardens vary in their watering needs, but for sure watering a vegetable garden is a better use of water.

By Ramon Gonzalez, TreeHuggerThink About Replacing Lawns with Gardens

GeorgeWashington’s Mount Vernon was the first house in North America to incorporate a lawn into the landscape design. According to some estimates, 40 million acres of America are covered in turf grass in the 48 contiguous states, making turf grass our largest irrigated crop.

The Sobering Statistics

During the growing season, if lawns are watered and fertilized as recommended, we pour 238 gallons of water per person, per day onto all that turf during the growing season.

The EPA says that in the United States, 26 billion gallons of water are consumed on a daily basis. Approximately 7.8 billion gallons of the water consumed on a daily basis are devoted to irrigation. Your typical suburban lawn consumes 10,000 gallons of water above annual rainfall.

That is a lot of water when you consider that humans can use less than 1% of all the water on Earth.

How much water can you conserve by replacing your lawn with a garden?

A couple of years after starting my outdoor garden, the water connection to the outside broke and I never fixed it. It turned out to be a blessing, because up until then I did not realize how much water I wasted.

It wasn’t until I was watering grass with a watering can that the severity of the situation dawned on me. Little by little, I replaced the drying turf with plants until there were only a few square feet of it left.

Welcome to the New Syria

I still believe that the Syria is still arguably the most important global situation of concern to people everywhere. At the least it a clear picture of the world domination movement in action, at worst, a trigger for a major global war.

This post from ‘COTO‘ by Michael Collins tells what I believe to be the true story. Certainly truer than the public press propaganda.

The assault on Damascus by Syrian rebels and terrorist murder of the Syrian Defense Minister occurred just as the Red Cross announced that the fighting in Syria was officially a civil war. This is an odd reward system for military action by the Free Syria Army. Commit enough acts of violence and you’re rewarded with special protections that apply in times of war. (Image)

The rebel Free Syria Army attacks cities and villages, disrupts the Syrian economy, and is in the business of suicide bombing. It has the material and diplomatic support of Saudi Arabia and the other oil oligarchies plus the big guns in NATO. So-called Syrian experts supporting the carnage are amply funded by United States sponsored nongovernment organizations.

Rebel cheerleader Hillary Clinton spans the globe demanding “regime change,” her exact words, and punishment for who disagree, China and Russia.

It’s hard to tell how the latest regime change project will come out. The real Syrian Army seems to win every engagement. China and Russia support the Assad government. At the same time, despite strong public opposition to any intervention, the Obama government is pushing hard to force Assad out of power. NATO and the Saudis seem unwavering.

Let’s take a look at what the New Syria will look like if United States government, the Saudis, and others prevail.

Widespread torture is just around the corner. It wasn’t long before the liberated Libya became the latest venue for torture as a means of settling old scores. The winners not only rewrite history, they get to set the rules. In Misrata, torturers were using foreign medical assistance to revive exhausted torture subjects thus allowing more torture.

Future of Food – The Australian Government sets the Direction

Another good post, Clare!
I think you are correct in querying the agenda of the government and where their loyalties lie.

An extract:

The Draft National Food Plan: Putting Corporate Hunger First

I highly recommend you read the paper and decide if you will join Nicolas Rose and Michael Croft develop a People’s Food Plan – one which is not solely in the control of the Government and the Big Corporations – one which is designed for Mr. and Mrs. Average Australian and workable into the foreseeable future. Also one which will benefit us all and not only the tax collectors and multinational food corporations.

JustMEinT's General Blog

You know, even Blind Freddie could figure out that allowing the Government to set the direction for the future food policy – without at least having the ordinary members of the food industry involved in the process – is a bad move!

Of course it just shows once again that this Government takes no notice of the electorate or the relevant industries, and does what it wants regardless. (Think No Carbon Taxunder a Government I lead)

Foodmagazineis an ezine I receive, which keeps me moderately up to date with what is happening in the food industry in Australia.

One of the articles of interest today discusses theAustralian Government’s National Food Plan.

According to Agriculture Minister Joe Ludwig, this plan “will ensure Australia has a sustainable, globally competitive, resilient food supply that supports access to nutritious and affordable food”.

Personally I would not trust the…
