Serious World Issues – Factual Information from NSNBC

I believe that the world’s people are not receiving the truth via the mass media outlets.

I also believe that most people are so engrossed with their own lives that they cocoon themselves and prefer to not be burdened with information that only makes them feel helpless because they can do relatively little about these issues.

Others accept the dogma of the media and are active in the belief that they are doing good, but in reality are supporting the destruction of our civilization.

Major, military global issues are the most serious current threats to our civilization. If you want to be reliably informed about these you could do worse than follow the NSNBC blog which currently has these articles posted:

Top ten ways humanity is being murdered in the name of ‘evidence-based science’

Some things for readers to think about when assessing the fidelity of the big companies and organizations. Involves public well-being, company agendas, perhaps global agendas, the reliability of the press and more importantly, the genuineness of those who should be. but are not, upholding the principles of science, and the resulting ravages of scientific principles. All leading to the ravages of your health and well-being.

NaturalNews Insider Alert ( www.NaturalNews.com ) email newsletter

Dear NaturalNews readers,

In the name of “evidence-based science,” we are all being killed by GMOs, vaccine additives, processed food chemicals and other threats to life on Earth.

I’m not an opponent of genuine, humble science and the search for answers in our universe, but what we’re seeing today is the mass poisoning of us all under the false label of “science.”

In a special 10-part article series, I take a look at the top 10 “scientific” threats to our lives:

#1) GMOs http://www.naturalnews.com/039778_evidence-based_science_murdered_GMO.html

Humour – The Naughty Australian Cricketer – A Naughty Joke in Dubious Taste , but Funny.

Smiling can imply a sense of humour and a stat...

Smiling can imply a sense of humour and a state of amusement, as in this painting of Falstaff by Eduard von Grützner. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Definitely time for a laugh!

Why would I make fun of our valiant Australian cricketers? Well it proves at least that my sense of humour extends to accepting jokes on us. They are so often on others. Also I find that Australians can be too serious about winning, to the detriment of the best ideals of sportsmanship and spirit of the game.

Other countries are not immune to the same human weaknesses but, MY country should meet MY standards, if they are to receive my unqualified support.

Hope you enjoy this and forgive me for my slide into the risque area. Please do not take this as a defence of rape or as chauvinism.

An Indian lady walked into a Police Station and the desk Sergeant said “Can I help you?”

“Yes” she said, “I’d like to report a case of sexual assault”.

“Where did it happen?” the Sergeant asked.

“In the park just down the road” she replied.

“Can you describe what happened?”

“Yes, I was walking along the footpath in the park near the trees when a man jumped out of the bushes and dragged me in there, removed my underwear then he dropped his pants to his knees and had his way with me”.

“Could you give me a description of him?”

“Yes, he was wearing white shoes, long white trousers, a white shirt and he had these two big long pads from his feet up to and over his knees, one on each leg”.

“Sounds to me like he was a cricketer, most probably a batsman”, said the Sergeant.

“Yes”, said the lady, “He was an Australian Cricketer”.

“That’s very observant”, said the Sergeant, “You worked that out from his accent?”

“No”, she replied. “I worked it out because he wasn’t in for very long”.

TED, knowledge, and power

An article posted on  Marcus T. Anthony’s blog,  ‘MindFutures’, that nicely follows my recent post Fear and Loathing Of Humans – The Pathology Behind The Climate Change Movement.  There, questions are raised about the methods and ethics regarding the acceptance and openness about science in general, in some cases even the validity of some widely accepted theories.

en: Diagram of hard problem of consciousness, ...

en: Diagram of hard problem of consciousness, English version. ja:意識の難しい問題、英語版。 (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

In Marcus’ article here, two main issues are discussed – the ‘threshold’ between material science and the realities of mind power, spiritual existence and consciousness outside the human sphere; and the ethics and control/censorship issues that obviously exist. The latter includes influences from funding or political pressures.

The discussion revolves around the science blog ‘TED Ideas Worth Spreading’ censorship of some serious “fringe science” talks by removing them from his blog and in fact from UTube. I have not given more than a cursory glance at his site but already have an issue with him about supporting Al Gore. (Maybe there are counter talks to balance this and I may have jumped to a conclusion.)

Now to Marcus’ article:

I wrote this oped article (below) shortly after TED made the decision to remove two talks by Rupert Sheldrake and Graham Hancock from its main site and YouTube. I sent it to many newspapers, but unfortunately nobody responded. Still, the good news is that I can share it with you here (feel free to share it wherever you like).  I also made further comment about the TED saga here.

Summary: The TED organisation’s decision to take down two videos by radical thinkers Rupert Sheldrake and Graham Hancock raises genuine questions about the way knowledge is now created and distributed. Length, 1000 words.

Zen Buddhist Shunryu Suzuki observed that “In the mind of the novice there are many possibilities, but in the mind of the expert there is but one.” Suzuki may well have repeated these words if he’d been alive over the past few days, even as a quiet storm brewed on a very modern forum: the internet. The online drama has involved the TED organisation’s decision to take down two videos by Rupert Sheldrake and Graham Hancock from YouTube and the main TED site. Sheldrake’s talk was about “the science delusion”, and questioned ten fundamental assumptions which underpin modern scientific thought. These included the presumption that consciousness resides only in the brain, whether the universal laws such as the speed of light are constants, and whether the total amount of matter and energy in the universe always stays the same. Hancock’s talk “The war on consciousness” delved into the uses of drugs in raising human consciousness.

TED’s decision emerged after strong criticism of the talks by committed skeptics Jerry Coyne and PZ Meyer (It is unclear whether other vested interests lie behind them). They protested that the talks were unscientific. TED opened the debate to the public, and there were hundreds of mostly supportive comments posted for Sheldrake and Hancock. However, the videos soon disappeared from YouTube and TED’s main video section, and were placed in an obscure location. TED commented that the decision was made “after due diligence, including a survey of published scientific research and recommendations from our Science Board and our community”. The speakers had “crossed the line into pseudoscience”. Both talks, TED claimed, “contained serious factual errors that undermine TED’s commitment to good science”. Only a few days had passed since the issue had gone public.

Sheldrake wrote to TED asking why he wasn’t consulted. Hancock went very public and commented on the TED site itself. He alleged that TED had made several blatant errors describing the content of his talk. Accusing the organisation of defaming him, he demanded the organisation address his concerns.

Public support for the two rogue philosophers has continued to be overwhelming, with nearly a thousand comments posted on the TED site. They almost universally condemn the move. On reddit.com a similar discussion produced 173 mostly supportive comments. A comment by a poster named Samual Bielski typified the reaction: “Shame, shame, shame (on TED). You have lost all credibility with me and I’m sure to many others.”

Sheldrake is a former Cambridge academic with a PhD in plant physiology. He first came to prominence in the 1980’s when the editor of Nature called Sheldrake’s A New Science of Life “a good book for burning.” Sheldrake has always been radical. He has conducted experiments into human and animal telepathy. He once tested the popular idea that you “just know” who is calling before you answer the phone. Sheldrake’s research found that people can “guess” who is calling forty-five per cent of the time, when there are four different callers. This is massively above chance.

The great irony in this saga is that it only adds weight to the argument put forward by Sheldrake that establishment science has become the new Church, ready to silence those with new ideas that challenge the entrenched scientific materialism of so many public, educational and scientific institutions. Notably, Sheldrake and Hancock’s talks were given at a London TEDx event in January entitled: “Visions for Transition: Challenging existing paradigms and redefining values for a changing world.” The implications are disturbing. If one cannot legitimately ask open questions about the way science is conducted, or about discrepancies in data, then science is no longer open inquiry. It is a set of unquestionable dogmas founded in an unconscious paradigm. Tellingly, this was the central point in Sheldrake’s talk that has been removed.

The truth is that many of those in the scientific community making truth claims about Sheldrake’s domains of expertise are poorly informed. On his website, Sheldrake mentions an incident where he agreed to meet with skeptic Richard Dawkins, as part of the latter’s television series, The Enemies of Reason. Sheldrake came prepared to discuss the scientific evidence for the existence of telepathy, including his own, having conducted several peer-reviewed experiments. But according to Sheldrake, Dawkins refused to address the science, saying that this was not the purpose of the program. Sheldrake states that Dawkins simply had not read the literature on the topic. Ironically, Dawkins is the former Emeritus Professor of the Public Understanding of Science at Oxford.

What is the reason for this aversion to open discussion of such matters in many scientific communities? The answer, in part, is paradigm blindness. Science has increasingly ignored intuitive ways of knowing over the last few centuries. Thomas Kuhn noted in the 1960s that paradigms not only restrict conclusions; they also delimit the kinds of questions deemed acceptable. And there is nothing which will kill open debate faster than silencing those who wish to ask questions.

Then there is the serious issue of science and academia’s ties to government and big business. Science, as practiced today, is not so much open as constrained by the organisations and markets which feed it. The relationship is uncomfortably symbiotic. The corporations and government funding bodies have the money, while the universities have the prestige. With the current TED issue, what is happening with vested power groups behind the scenes is simply not transparent.

Perhaps it is time for science to loosen its materialistic shackles and begin to see the cosmos afresh. The mechanistic universe is what I call a “used future”. It is merely an unconscious repetition of a past that has already outlived its usefulness.

I discuss many such ideas in Futures Studies, and I generally get a very open reception. Then again, scientific conservatives and skeptics don’t tend to enrol in Foresight classes or attend Futures Studies conferences. They don’t like talking about the future – it’s too uncertain, and you can’t control it.

Read the source article here.

This supports my contention that not only is the ‘climate science’ not settled, in fact it is unsettled, but there are many areas of science where closed minds refuse to seriously consider alternatives. Historically, man’s beliefs and ‘laws’ of science have, with hindsight, been proved wrong either completely or partially.

Certainly we are now equipped with vastly improved detection methods and computation facilities and we do ‘know’ much which is probably forever factual. But not necessarily all.

We are not yet equipped with infallibility and perfection.

TED has responded somewhat to public pressure, but the issues in general still remain. A universal trend of censorship, human weakness and bias does exist and it can hardly be deemed acceptable.

The Global Elite Are Very Clearly Telling Us That They Plan To Raid Our Bank Accounts

This article by Michael, “The Economic Collapse“, is spelling out what should by now be “bleeding obvious”.

English: Bank_of_Cyprus_major_Cypriot_financia...

English: Bank_of_Cyprus_major_Cypriot_financial_institution_offices_in_Thessaloniki_Greece.jpg (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

The financial crisis is fast approaching the cliff edge. Any country accepting austerity plans is doomed because all positive growth, or even a static economy, is physically impossible. Downhill all the way!

Countries like Cyprus, who accept the money manager’s terms, which include stripping funds from personal accounts, when it is easily avoidable, because there is no absolute need to apply such pressures, are sacrificing their country’s life and independence and there will be no turning back.

One cannot be blamed for thinking that all this is a deliberate scheme to destroy the global  political system. Michael’s article, explaining the situation clearly, unfortunately makes sense.

Another thought that is triggered by these anti-social actions of the financial engineers,  together with the US arming of its civil service organizations and the concurrent disarming of its citizens, is that there is a deliberate incitement of civil unrest planned to enable martial law to be enacted, in order to gain complete power over the public?

Don’t be surprised when the global elite confiscate money from your bank account one day.  They are already very clearly telling you that they are going to do it.  Dutch Finance Minister Jeroen Dijsselbloem is the president of the Eurogroup – an organization of eurozone finance ministers that was instrumental in putting together the Cyprus “deal” – and he has said publicly that what has just happened in Cyprus will serve as a blueprint for future bank bailouts.  What that means is that when the chips are down, they are going to come after YOUR money.  So why should anyone put a large amount of money in the bank at this point?  Perhaps you can make one or two percent on your money if you shop around for a really good deal, but there is also a chance that 40 percent (or more) of your money will be confiscated if the bank fails.  And considering the fact that there are vast numbers of banks all over the United States and Europe that are teetering on the verge of insolvency, why would anyone want to take such a risk?  What the global elite have done is that they have messed around with the fundamental trust that people have in the banking system.  In order for any financial system to work, people must have faith in the safety and security of that financial system.  People put their money in the bank because they think that it will be safe there.  If you take away that feeling of safety, you jeopardize the entire system.

So exactly how did the big banks in Cyprus get into so much trouble?  Well, they have been doing exactly what hundreds of other large banks all over the U.S. and Europe have been doing.  They have been gambling with our money.  In particular, the big banks in Cyprus made huge bets on Greek sovereign debt which ended up failing.

But what happened in Cyprus is just the tip of the iceberg.  All over the planet major financial institutions are being incredibly reckless with client money.  They are leveraged to the hilt and they have transformed the global financial system into a gigantic casino.

If they win on their bets, they become fabulously wealthy.

If they lose on their bets, they know that the politicians won’t let the banks fail.  They know that they will get bailed out one way or another.

And who pays?

We do.

Either our tax dollars are used to fund a government-sponsored bailout, or as we have just witnessed in Cyprus, money is directly confiscated from our bank accounts.

And then the game begins again.

People need to understand that the precedent that has just been set in Cyprus is a game changer.

Who Defies Neutron Repulsion, the Driver of the Solar Chariot?

Now THIS science and associated discourse I will accept and follow enthusiastically. The IPCC its components and followers can believe what they like and respond how they like, but if they wish to play “God” with the lives of the rest of us, they need to realize that not all the public are unaware of the truths.

The conclusion is just this: Two seemingly minor falsehoods, promoted as scientific facts to save the world from possible nuclear annihilation in 1945:

  1. Neutrons attract neutrons
  2. H-fusion powers the Sun

Destroyed the integrity of science, education, research journals, the news media, and world leaders – and Creator-endowed rights to self-governance, as a virus living only in nerve cells might totally incapacitate an entire organism without leaving any visible outward sign…

The Pathology Behind The Climate Change Movement

Thanks for following my blog. This and other posts of yours look interesting and supplement what I am advocating.

Power To The People

The (E = hv) and (E = mc^2) Makes The Climate Change
Author K. Manuel in his blog “Omanuel’s Blog” has a review of the scientific discoveries regarding the impact the Sun has on the Earth’s Climate. There is also a lengthy discussion of the reasons why the author belives this vital information is being suppressed by those in power within the Climate Change Movement as revealed in the Climategate emails.  In a nutshell, the core ethos of the Climate Change Movement is the fear and loathing of humankind.  Fear and loathing of the destructive nature of human’s who must be subjugated to prevent them from destroying the earth via using the forbidden knowledge of the Sun’s source of power, (E = hv) and (E = mc^2), neutron repulsion.

But how best to accomplish this? The Genie of the Sun’s source of power had already been released with…

AGW – On People who Live in Glass Houses (with corrections 29/3)

Over at WUWT, there is discussion about the attack on the honesty,  integrity and general competence of those of us who challenge the supposed AGW ‘settled science’ and its body of supporters, as thrust into the public arena by Stephan Lewandowsky and John Cook of “Sceptical Science”.

Greenhouse

Back in 2011 a series of articles, one of which is attributed to Stephan Lewandowsky, published in the Australian ABC’s  “Drum” section were instrumental in what I would term brainwashing the Australian public in advance of the then impending, infamous “carbon tax”.

His particular contribution was, as in this case, denigrating the “unbelievers”.

At that time I reacted by offering a series of responses, published only on this website and therefore reaching very few readers. The Golden Rule now has over 200 followers and averages about 50 hits a day, still miniscule in the big picture, but rewarding and encouraging to me.

So, I wish to support WUWT in their criticism of these “scientists” who resort to rhetoric, propaganda and slurring of the integrity of persons who stand up for truth and justice.

Please read Anthony Watt’s post ” Second Lewandowsky conspiracy theory paper delinked from journal “, if you are interested in this seemingly endless wrangling of the truth about CO2 and Carbon political control mechanisms and discover the very dubious methods adopted by the challenged scientists. As this post title suggests, throwing stones when one lives in a fragile dwelling is a potential for disaster.

Just in case anyone is interested, I include links to these posts published here in 2011.

Why bother with it here? Nothing world-changing will result of course, but my views, or what I believe to be important to everyone, are aired. Someone, somewhere, may gain and understand something worth knowing.

US – Russian Relations deteriorating as Kuwaiti Whistle Blower Discloses Secret Syria War-Plan

Christof Lehmann (nsnbc).- The spokesperson of Russia´s Foreign Ministry Alexander Lukashevich criticized the United States for its biased interpretation of the Geneva Communique on Syria, and for US State Department Speaker Victoria Nuland´s statement, that the USA will continue aiding the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces. US – Russian relations have been frozen since US Secretary of State John Kerry granted additional USD 60 million for the subversion. The recent revelation, by a member the general secretariat of Kuwait´s National Party, according to whom the USA and Qatar are planning to divide Syria into small-states, is likely to further cool down east-west relations.

Department of Homeland Security Refuses to Answer Congress On 1.6 Billion Bullet Purchase

“DHS staying mum as members probe for explanations”

dhs-1.6billion-bulletsSteve Watson | Infowars.com

Speaking at CPAC with Infowars and We Are Change reporter, Luke Rudkowski, Congressman Timothy Huelscamp revealed this week that the Department of Homeland Security has refused to answer questions from “multiple” members of Congress regarding its recent purchase of huge amounts of weapons and ammunition.

Draw your own conclusions by reading on here.   More on this topic:

Retired Army Capt.: DHS Announcing a ‘Bold Threat of War’ Against US Citizens

Dear Senator Cornyn,

“It is with gravest concern that I write to you today concerning the recent appropriation of weapons by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that can only be understood as a bold threat of war by that agency, and the Obama administration, against the citizens of the United States of America.  To date, DHS has been unwilling to provide to you, the elected representatives of the People, justification for recent purchases of almost 3,000 mine-resistant ambush-protected (MRAP) armored personnel carriers, 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition (with associated weapons), and other weapons systems, when, in fact, the DHS has no war mission or war making authority within the limits of the United States of America.

Significant is the fact that at the same time the Obama administration is arming his DHS for war within the limits of the United States against the People of the United States in accordance with his 2008 campaign speech claiming, “We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set.  We’ve gotta (sic) have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded [as the United States military]”–Candidate Barack Obama, 2008.

the Obama administration is deliberately defunding, overextending, and hollowing the Department of Defense; the only legitimate agency of the U.S. government with a war mission.”

Selling Death and Buying Assassins In the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia

Introduction: As President Obama enters his second term with a new Cabinet, the foreign policy legacy of the past four years weighs heavily on their strategic decisions and their empire-building efforts. Central to the analysis of the next period is an evaluation of the past policies especially in regions where Washington expended its greatest financial and military resources, namely the Middle East, South Asia and North Africa. – By Prof. James Petras

We will proceed by examining the accomplishments and failures of the Obama-Clinton regime. We will then turn to the ongoing policy efforts to sustain the empire-building project. We will take account of the constraints and opportunities, which define the parameters resulting from imperial military ambitions, Israeli-Zionist influence in shaping policy and the ongoing anti-imperialist struggles. We will conclude by examining likely polices and outcomes resulting from current strategies.

Global Warming – Sustainability – Corn and Control – NWO

A weird title, disjointed and unclear.

But so is the real world situation of government and NGO behaviour regarding energy utilization and planning, fossil fuel dependence and exploitation, CO2 and carbon controls and trading, globalization and world domination agendas and endless debates on all these, and thus we arrive at a small but important aspect – corn production and ethanol useage.

USDA 98c0442

USDA 98c0442 (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

I might sum up the aforesaid debating as, not so much weird, disjointed and unclear, but perhaps confusing (or confused), a variety of topics and opinions and a wealth of genuine information and logic. Occasionally, a reader will offer some insight into a debate that raises my awareness and understanding and stands out as a ‘gem’.

Borrowing from WUWT‘s post ” Dispelling myths about global warming “, itself (the post and the blog in general), one of the many ‘gems’ from which we learn so much, I take the liberty of reproducing part of the ‘reader’s commentary’:

  1. A. Scott says:

richard verney says: March 26, 2013 at 4:05 am

One important factor not addressed by you, is surplus quantity. How much grain does the US export (say over the past 30 years), and much grain is exported in it food aid programme (say over the past 30 years)? A sub issue is the use of GM crops to try and make good the shortage of conventional crops which shortage has been caused by the switch in land use to biofuels.

I have addressed this question regularly. Anyone can go to the US Field Grain Yearbook (or the extensive other data the USDA provides) and find out the true facts instead of repeating partisan rhetoric.

As to corn – contrary to the claims that ethanol production has reduced or negatively affected corn exports:

*Total US Corn exports averaged 47 million metric tons a year fro period 1991-2011. The average US corn exports for the peak ethanol increase years of 2002 – 2007 was 51 million metric tons with a top number of 6o.7 million metric tons in 2007/08.

*During the period since corn use began increasing due to ethanol – 2002 thru 2011 – US corn use for fuel increased from 997 to to 5,018 million bushels. Yet the US exports increased significantly during the height of that period.

*Prices both increased AND decreased significantly from 2002-2011, despite corn used for ethanol growing substantially.

*The US has met ALL domestic use, both food and fuel, met ALL export demand, AND has still maintained an average annual surplus of 1.4 billion bushels during the period 1991-2011

The price of US corn/grains is only one factor and the issue is not whether (due to efficiencies) the US can produce grain at a cheaper price than some foreign country can do so through its own domestic production. Some suggest that the increase in grain price was one factor behind the Arab Spring which, in itself, has led to thousands of deaths. So political commentators consider that there has been an increase in the price of export grains

More unsupported allegations. The US has provided, during the 1991-2011 period, up to 92% of Egypt’s corn imports – on average over 71% each year during this entire period.

The truth is in the data. While US corn exports declined slightly from 2008 – from an almost exactly average year of 47,900 million metric tons to appx 39,000 million metric tons in 2011, its is becasue the other corn exporting country’s – Argentina, Brazil, India and the EU combined, increased their corn exports from 16,900 to 52,200 million metric tons from 2005 to 2011. Their cheaper corn has reduced the overall export demand in the US.

And what about your claims about prices? Again the data tells the truth.

*1971-1991 Corn prices averaged $2.28 a bushel, with prices mostly between $2.50 and $3.20 for that period.

*1991-2011 Corn prices averaged $2.57 a bushel, with prices mostly between $1.85 and $3.04 for that period.

*2001-2011 Corn prices averaged $3.37 a bushel, with prices mostly between $1.97 and $3.55 for that period.

There are short, speculator driven spikes during each of these periods, as with today. But the reality is, absent those short spikes, Corn prices today are very little changed than they were in the 1970′s

Regardless – lets take the 1971-1991 average of $2.28 a bushel and compare to the 2011 price of $5.18. That would be a 127% increase from 1971 to 2011, a 40 year period. That would be an average annual increase of just over 3%.

From 2001 to 2011 the US supplied 0.566 billion metric tons of corn exports comprising 52% of ALL world corn exports. Most of that corn was supplied at the same prices as corn sold for in the 1970′s.

Anyone that claims the US has not done, and is not doing, greatly more than their fair share, regardless of whether it is about export quantity or price, is simply not living in the real world, or has an agenda to push.

Once again – the US is providing for ALL domestic demand, including ethanol, is providing for ALL export demand, and sill maintains an appx 1 to 2 billion bushel domestic reserve.

We also effectively maintain an appx 5 billion bushel further domestic reserve thru the ethanol industry, which the ethanol industry demonstrated in 2012. With low crop yields and substantial losses related to the drought, and production well below projected, the US ethanol industry reduced corn their usage in 2012 by almost the entire amount below projections.

Egypt has huge oil reserves and revenue. It is not our responsibility to provide this rich nation cheap, subsidized food. We already provide the majority of their corn import demand and have for many years. And we do so at fair, market prices. It is Egypt’s responsibility to provide for their people – and they have plenty of money to do so should the ruling elite so choose.

  2. A. Scott says:

One more for Richard Verney. From Rami Zurayk, professor of agricultural and food sciences at the American University of Beirut and author of Food, Farming and Freedom: Sowing the Arab Spring. He addresses pretty much exactly what I said:

Already, in Egypt and Yemen, more than 40% of the population live below the poverty line and suffer from some form of malnutrition. Most of the poor in these countries have no access to social safety nets.

“Bread riots” have been occurring regularly since the mid 1980s, following policies brought to us by the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. Among these were the reduction of agricultural subsidies and the encouragement of production of fruits and vegetables for export, at the expense of investing in local grain production. Export of value-added produce and the import of basic commodities such as wheat were monopolised by a small group of “entrepreneurs” protected by the security state who financially backed the ruling elite…. The US gave Egypt around $1.7bn last year, exceeded only by the $2.4bn it gave to Israel.

Not only are we providing the majority of their corn (and other) imports, we are sending huge sums of other aid.

Again – the “State” and the ruling elite have vast sums of oil money at their control, yet seemingly refuse to use it.

SO, I believe that there is much understanding to be gained here. “About many things”, misconceptions of CO2 “dangers”, corn production and ethanol useage, through to   financial controllers and world politics.
